专题07 读后续写-【大题小卷】冲刺2022年高考英语大题限时集训(原卷版)读后续写作为英语全国新高考卷和浙江高考卷的主要写作题型,占分比例较高,需要考生掌握一定的写作技巧。读后续写所给的阅读材料一般以350词以内的记叙文和夹叙夹议文为主,考生要在此文的后面续写约150词左右的文字与前文构成一个完整的故事。考生续写的部分多是故事发展的高潮或结局。情节曲折跌宕,线索性和逻辑性较强。续写部分分为两段,每段开头语已经给出。考生所续写的部分要有创新性,不是原文的抄写或胡编乱造,不是随心所欲地写,而是要在所给段落开头完成续写部分(150词左右)。其中,段落开头语与传统写作中的开头语类似,在某种程度上引导你的思路向某个方面发展,所续写部分不能脱离各自的段落开头语另起炉灶,要在其基础上进行拓展发挥。 Last year at Christmas time, my wife, three children and I were on our way from Paris to Nice. Somehow everything went wrong. Our hotels were “tourist traps” and our rented car broke down. On Christmas Eve, when we checked into a dirty hotel in Nice, there was no Christmas spirit in our hearts.It was raining and cold when we went out to eat. We found a small restaurant poorly decorated for the holiday. Only five tables in the restaurant were taken. There were two German couples, two French families, and an American sailor, by himself. They were eating in stony silence except the sailor. He was writing a letter, and a half-smile lighted his face. In the corner a piano player was listlessly (无精打采地) playing Christmas music.All of us were interrupted by an old French flower woman through the front door. She had a worn overcoat and her old shoes were wet. Carrying her basket of flowers, she went from one table to another. No one bought any. Exhausted and frustrated, she sat down at a table.The sailor finished his meal and got up to leave. Putting on his coat, he walked over to the flower woman’s table.“Merry Christmas,” he said, smiling and picking out a handful of flowers. “How much are they?” “Two francs, sir.”The sailor put a twenty franc note in the woman’s hand.“I don’t have change, sir,” she said. “I'll get some from the waiter.”“No, ma’am,” said the sailor, leaning over and kissing the ancient cheek. “This is my Christmas present for you.”注意:1.所续写短文的词数应为 150 左右;
2.续写部分分为两段,每段的开头语已为你写好;
Paragraph 1:Then the sailor headed for our table with the flowers in his hand.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Paragraph 2:The piano player came alive and pleasant music filled the whole room.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________动作描写一、动作描写的原则1. 试比较下面两句:①The little boy said sorry to his mother.②The little boy hung his head and mumbled an apology to his mother. 如:①She went to catch the butterfly.②She crept along the path, bent over swiftly and cupped her hands around the butterfly gently. (1)比喻①The old man’s face wrinkled.②The old man’s face was like a withered apple.(2)拟人①My stomach was aching for not eating on time.②My stomach was punishing me for not eating on time.(3)夸张①When she heard the bad news, she cried.②When she heard the bad news, a river of tears poured out. 对某人怒目而视③glance around/round the room扫视房间④stare at凝视⑤take a look at看⑥overhear a funny conversation无意间听到一段好笑的谈话⑦remark评论说⑧add补充说2.与“跑、跳、行走”等相关的词块①walk across a street步行穿过马路②walk arm in arm臂挽着臂走③pace back and forth来回踱步④jump to one’s feet一跃而起⑤walk gracefully步态优美地走⑥rush out of the room冲出房间心理描写一、心理描写的原则1. 如:①Her eyes were filled with tears,and she offered her sincere thanks to the man.②Tears filling her eyes,she offered her sincere thanks to the man. Her eyes were filled with tears。 3.展示“丰富化”修辞除了选择细致的心理描写词汇和多样化的句式表达外,提升语言层次的另外一种方式是多使用修辞方法,例如:①The smile on her face shone like a diamond.②I feel like I am floating in an ocean of sadness. 与“喜悦和满意”相关的词块 a bright/shining smile灿烂的微笑a mixture of excitement and happiness既兴奋又开心burst into laughter/burst out laughing突然大笑起来be wild with joy/delight欣喜若狂be joyful about/at/over对……很高兴be in high spirits情绪高涨be pleased beyond description快乐难以言表light up喜逐颜开be content/satisfied with对……满意be delighted at对…… 与“悲伤和烦恼”相关的词块be sad at heart心里悲伤be down in spirits情绪低落an ocean of sadness悲伤的海洋burst into tears/burst out crying大哭起来sob啜泣be clouded with grief阴沉的悲伤be in low spirits情绪低落fall into despair陷入绝望feel depressed/discouraged感到沮丧/泄气have a worried look愁眉苦脸3.与“生气和怨怒”相关的词块flare up勃然大怒be in a rage一怒之下be mad at对……生气be very angry at对……很生气feel angry/annoyed感到恼怒/生气be seized by anger充满愤怒be fuming with rage大发雷霆tremble with anger愤怒得颤抖a look of burning anger愤怒的一眼glare at sb. In the doorway of my home, I looked closely at the face of my 23-year-old son, his backpack by his side. We were saying good-bye. In a few hours he would be flying to France. He would be staying there for at least a year to learn another language and experience life in a different country.Before his college graduation, one day I told Daniel that the great failing in my life had been that I didn't take a year or two off to travel when I finished college. This is the best way to my way of thinking, to broaden oneself and develop a lager perspective on life. Once I had married and begun working, I found that the eagerness of living in another culture had disappeared.Daniel thought about this. His friends said that he would be insane to put his career on hold. But he decided it was not so crazy. After graduation, he worked as a waiter at college, a bike messenger and a house painter. With the money he earned, he had enough to go to Paris.Last night, I tossed in bed, unable to sleep. It was a transitional time in Daniel’s, a passage, a step from college into the adult world. I wanted to leave him some words that would have some meaning, some significance beyond the moment. I failed. Nothing came to my mind. Maybe, I thought, it wasn’t necessary to say anything.But I knew that it was necessary. My father and I loved each other. Yet, I always regretted never hearing him put his feelings into words and never having the memory of that moment.Now, as I stood before Daniel, still nothing came from my lips. No sound broke the stillness of my beach-side home. Outside, I could hear the shrill cries of sea gulls as they circled the ever-changing surf of Long Island. Inside, I stood frozen and quiet, looking into the searching eyes of my son.1. What made it more difficult was that I knew this was not the first time I had let such a moment pass _______________________________________Thinking of those lost opportunities. The ice broke into pieces and dropped him four feet to the bottom.Realizing that he was in trouble and was going to hurt himself, Richard decided to come to land quickly. However, his left leg was hurt, so he had to reach for his shotgun, unload it and use it as a crutch(扔杖). When he was partly up,he lost his balance and fell into the river again.This time one of his feet got stuck between two rocks.Richard told himself that if he didn't get himself out of that river,he wasn't going to have a very good night.Richard managed to make his foot free and climbed more slowly and carefully.Richard suddenly realized the difficulty of the task before him.The accident happened at about 2 p.m.,and it was almost 5 p.m.with the road far away as the sun was setting.Although Richard met with many difficulties, he didn't give up. With his gun's support, he tried jumping with his right leg, but it was useless. He had to try other ways to reach land. He was stubborn and sure that he must be persistent(坚持不懈的). And though only 15, I was an experienced and fairly successful hand.Anil was about 25---a tall, thin fellow---and he looked easy-going, kind and simple enough for my purpose. I might be able to get in to his confidence.I gave him my most appealing smile. “I want to work for you." I said.“But I can't pay you."Perhaps I had misjudged the man. I asked, “Can you feed me?“Can you cook?"“I can cook." I lied.“If you can cook, then I can feed you."The meal I cooked that night must have been terrible because Anil gave it to a stray dog and old me to be off. But I just hung around smiling in my most appealing way, and he couldn't help laughing.Later he patted me on the head and said never mind, he'd teach me to cook. He also taught me to write my name and said he would soon teach me to write whole sentences and to add numbers. I was grateful. I knew that once I could write like an educated man there would be no limit to what I could achieve.One evening he came home with a small bundle of notes, saying he had just sold a book to a publisher. At night, I saw him put the money under the mattress (床垫).It's time I did some real work, I told myself. After all, he doesn't even pay me.Anil was asleep. I crept up to the bed. Anil was sleeping peacefully. My hand slid under the mattress, searching for the notes. When I found them, I drew them out without a sound. Anil sighed in his sleep and turned on his side, towards me. I was frightened and quickly crawled out of the room.I began to run, holding the notes by the string of my pajamas (睡衣). But I slowed down and sat down in the shelter of the clocktower. I should go back to Anil, I told myself, if only to learn to read and write.注意:1. 续写词数应为150词左右;2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 I hurried back to the room feeling very nervous. ___________________________I awoke late next morning to find that Anil had already made the tea. ______ 3.【2021年江苏省南通市高三模拟卷】第二节 读后续写(满分25分)阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。续写的词数应为150左右。I looked out at the smiling faces packed into the school hall. Flashes from cameras lit up in all directions. The applause filled my ears. I had done it. I had really done it.Just a few months earlier, I would never have pictured myself acting in a play in front of two hundred people."Not for a million dollars," I would have said. But when the time came, I got up on stage and faced one of my greatest fears-and discovered I could do more than I ever gave myself credit for. I found a new person inside me, a much more daring, outgoing person who had been hidden all along, just waiting for the opportunity to appear.If not for my teacher, Mrs Sather, I might never have found that opportunity.In the first and second grade, I was extremely shy. I had friends, but it just wasn't in my personality to be very outgoing, even when I knew someone well. I was afraid I would do or say something wrong, so usually I just smiled and listened to other people's conversations. I did well in school and I loved to write. However, I would escape into my writing, where I could be myself and never had to worry about what other people thought of me. In my stories, I was never shy.My teacher, Mrs Sather, always encouraged me to write more. She told our class to go after our dreams and dig in with both hands. I think she was one of the first people to see my inner strength. One day, she announced that our class was going to perform a play she had written." I'll begin to cast everyone tomorrow," she said." I need someone who is not afraid to be on stage in front of a lot of people to play the lead part of Dorothy. Anybody want to try?" A few excited hands shot up-mine, of course, was not one of them-and Mrs Sather smiled." We'll talk more about it tomorrow," she said. Then the bell rang and my classmates slowly left the classroom.Paragraph 1:When I was loading up my backpack, Mrs Sather asked me to go to her.___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Paragraph 2:Hearing Mrs Sather’s words, I realized it was time to make a change.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 1.【2021年新高考I卷】67. 阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。A MOTHER’S DAY SURPRISEThe twins were filled with excitement as they thought of the surprise they were planning for Mother’s Day. How pleased and proud Mother would be when they brought her breakfast in bed. They planned to make French toast and chicken porridge. They had watched their mother in the kitchen. There was nothing to it. Jenna and Jeff knew exactly what to do.The big day came at last. The alarm rang at 6 a.m. The pair went down the stairs quietly to the kitchen. They decided to boil the porridge first. They put some rice into a pot of water and left it to boil while they made the French toast. Jeff broke two eggs into a plate and added in some milk. Jenna found the bread and put two slices into the egg mixture. Next, Jeff turned on the second stove burner to heat up the frying pan. Everything was going smoothly until Jeff started frying the bread. The pan was too hot and the bread turned black within seconds. Jenna threw the burnt piece into the sink and put in the other slice of bread. This time, she turned down the fire so it cooked nicely.Then Jeff noticed steam shooting out of the pot and the lid starting to shake. The next minute, the porridge boiled over and put out the fire. Jenna panicked. Thankfully, Jeff stayed calm and turned off the gas quickly. But the stove was a mess now. Jenna told Jeff to clean it up so they could continue to cook the rest of the porridge. But Jeff’s hand touched the hot burner and he gave a cry of pain. Jenna made him put his hand in cold water. Then she caught the smell of burning. Oh dear! The piece of bread in the pan had turned black as well.注意:1.续写词数应为150左右。2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。As the twins looked around them in disappointment, their father appeared.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________The twins carried the breakfast upstairs and woke their mother up.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 2.【2021年高考浙江卷】47. 阅读下面短文,根据所给情节进行续写,使之构成一个完整的故事,My dad, George, only had an eighth grade education. A quiet man, he didn't understand my world of school activities. From age 14, he worked. And his dad, Albert, took the money my dad earned and used it to pay family expenses. I didn't really understand his world either: He was a livestock trucker, and I thought that I would surpass (超过) anything he had accomplished by the time I walked across the stage at high school graduation. Summers in the mid-70s were spent at home shooting baskets, hitting a baseball, or throwing a football, preparing for my future as a quarterback on a football team. In poor weather, I read about sports or practiced my trombone (长号). The summer before my eighth grade I was one of a group of boys that a neighboring farmer hired to work in his field. He explained our basic task, the tractor fired up and we were off, riding down the field looking for weeds to spray with chemicals. After a short way, the farmer stopped and pointed at a weed which we missed. Then we began again. This happened over and over, but we soon learned to identify different grasses like cockleburs, lamb's-quarters, foxtails, and the king of weeds, the pretty purple thistle. It was tiring work, but I looked forward to the pay, even though I wasn't sure how much it would amount to.At home, my dad said, "A job's a big step to growing up. I'm glad you will be contributing to the household." My dad's words made me realize that my earnings might not be mine to do with as I wished.My labors lasted about two weeks, and the farmer said there might be more work, but I wasn't interested. I decided it was not fair that I had to contribute my money. 注意:1.所续写短文的词数应为150左右;2.至少使用5个短文中标有下划线的关键词语;3.续写部分分为两段,每段的开头语已为你写好;4.续写完成后,请用下划线标出你所使用的关键词语。Paragraph 1:The pay arrived at last.Paragraph 2:I understood immediately what my parents were worried about.
