表示所有关系的代词叫做物主代词，也可叫做代词所有格。在概念上，物主代词表示人、事、物的所属关系，通常翻译成“某人的”或“某物的”。
1.形容词性物主代词不能单独使用，后面必须接名词；2.如果名词前有形容词性物主代词，就不能同时使用冠词（a an the）或者指示代词（this that these thse ）.
例1.This is my bk. 这是我的书。例2. May I use yur pen? Mine is brken. 我可以用你的钢笔吗？ 我的坏了.
1.名词性物主代词后面不能加名词。2.名词性物主代词=形容词性物主代词+名词，所以其后不用加名词。例如：May I use yur pen? Mine is brken. 我可以用你的钢笔吗？我的坏了. 解析：在这句话中 mine=my pen
1. 形容词性物主代词用来修饰名词，起形容词的作用，不能单独使用。 如： My parents are bth teachers. 我的父母都是老师。 2. 名词性物主代词可以单独使用，相当于“形容词性物主代词+名词”，后面不跟名词。如： May I use yur ruler? I have lst mine. = May I use yur ruler? I have lst my ruler.
另外，名词性物主代词还可以用在“n. + f + 名词性物主代词”结构中，表示“某人的 …”。如：The shes f hers are very nice. 她的鞋子很漂亮。
这本书是我的。This bk is mine.那只小猫是她的。That kitten is hers.我的尺子坏了。我可以用你的吗？My ruler is brken. May I use yurs?

2. 名词性物主代词可以作主语、宾语和表语。如：Yur bk is interesting, but mine is mre interesting. (作主语) 你的书很有趣，但是我的更有趣。These letters are his. (作表语)这些是他的信。I lst my pen this mrning. May I brrw yurs? (作宾语) 我今天早晨丢了我的钢笔，我能借用一下你的吗？
物主代词分两种，形容词性名词性。形容词性能力差，自己不能来当家。句子当中作定语，身后定把名词加。物主代词名词性，相当名词可单用。句中充当主宾表，身后没有名词影。两种代词形不同，添个s形变名。his,its不用变，my变mine要记清。
