教学目标
1.To learn the sounds of the five vowel letters
2. To know how to write them
3. To work out the rule

To read some new words correctly according to the rule

教学方法
采用presentation, match and pair work,whole class activities, Practicing和Group work的学习策略,利用教学图片、幻灯片或制作多媒体课件来展开课堂。
课前准备
1.教师准备: 使用‘学乐师生’拍照\录像\录音,收集学生典型成果,在‘授课’系统中展示”。 制作能显示本课时重点内容的图片及多媒体课件。
2.学生准备:课前预习本课时所学词汇、句型及课文内容,并进行适当的总结、归类。
课时安排
本节课共一课时
教学过程
Step1 Revision and lead-in
T: Do you remember the 26 English letters? What are they? Can you sing the ABC Song?
Step2 Presentation
1.(Present the five vowel letters: a,e,i,o,u)
T:Who can read these vowel letters?
2.(Presnt the words: cake, she, like, no, student)
T: Can you read these words?
3.Ask Ss to read after the teacher and try to imitate the pronunciation.
4.Rule: The sounds of the vowel letters are the same as the sounds of the letters themselves.
5.Write these English sounds:[ei][i:][ai][ǝu][ju:]
Step3 Practice
1. Ask Ss to turn to P15.
T: Pay attention to the bold letters. How to read them? How to write the sounds?
2 .Encourage Ss to read after the tape.
3.Ask Ss to read the sentences in Part C and try to write down the vowels.
Step4 Games
1.Ask five Ss to come to the front and give everyone a card which has a vowel written in it.
2.Ask ten Ss to read the words in Part A.
3.Ask the ten Ss to find the correct sound of the bold letter. Then choose the leader of the five Ss and stand behind him or her.
4.Encourage Ss to read Part A loudly.
Step5 Presentation
1.(Present the words: face, nice, home)
T: Do you know these three words? Who can read them? What’s the sound of the red letter in this word?
2.Ask Ss to read the groups of words in Part B according to the sound of the word in the centre in each group.
