本课时是义务教育灵通版（pep）小学英语教科书四年级下册的第四单元第四课时，本  课时继续围绕“参观农场”展开内容，包括 B.Let’s learn              B Draw and say 两个板块。

本课时的 B.Let’s learn 部分通过 Mr MacDonald 给 Sarah 介绍农场动物的情景呈现了单词：

horses ； cows ；hens  和 sheep 的词形和意义。

B Draw and say 部分操练和巩固 A、B Let’s learn 部分的核心句 Are these/ those …? 及答语：Yes,they are . /No, they aren’t.等，关于动物及蔬菜的单词 。

针对以上教学任务老师应在 B.Let’s learn 部分适当关注学生对于名词复数的理解以及What’s this / that? It’s a …. 和 What are these/ those? They ‘re …的正确使用。如果课时紧张B Draw and say 可让学生课下完成。

三、课时目标

1. 学生能够听、说、认读单词：horse ，cow ，hen 和 sheep 及其复数形式。

2. 能够运用核心句型：Are these/ those …? 及答语：Yes,they are . /No, they aren’t.讨论农场的动物。
3. 能够理解:What’s this / that? It’s a …. 和 What are these/ those? They ‘re …的正确使用。

4. 能够运用恰当的形容词来赞美大自然的动物。

5. 培养学生热爱大自然的良好习惯。

1. 课时重点

学习单词：horse ，cow ，hen 和 sheep 及其复数形式。学习肯定句 These are sheep. 以及赞美的句子：Wow ! They are so cute!

Sheep 的复数形式以及 horse 复数形式的读音。

六、教学过程

Step 1 Warm up

师生问好：

T: Good morning , boys and girls! Ss: Good morning,teachers!

T: What are these？（课件展示胡萝卜图片） Ss: They are carrots.

T: Are they tomatoes? ( 课件展示橘子图片）

Ss: No, they are oranges.

设计意图：通过问候活跃了课堂气氛，还复习了旧知。

Step 2 Lead in

活动“演一演，猜一猜（Act and guess)”

活动方案：教师示范表演一种动物，让学生猜动物的名称。

T: What is it？

(全班同学看老师的动作回答。) Ss: It’s a dog.

（猜出几个动物后，老师发指令由学生来做动作。） 如：T: Act like a cat .

学生做动作。

……

设计意图：通过这个有趣的活动不仅复习了旧知又引起了孩子们的学习兴趣，还培养了  孩子们的表现力。

Step 3 Presentation

1. 教学 B.Let’s learn

⑴ 教学单词 horse ，cow ，hen 和 sheep

①教学单词 horse--- horses

接上面的游戏老师最后一个指令 Act like a horse. 由于上节课同学们学习了这个单词所以会很快的表演出来，学生们做完动作后，老师板书：h               se .请自告奋勇的学生说出单词中缺少的字母。接下来老师课件展示两批马的图片，引导学生说：Two horses. 老师跟着学生的回答在 horse 后面用彩笔添上“s”并告诉学生，horse 的复数是在末尾直接加“s”，然后再领读。

② 教学单词 hen --- hens

T: (然后老师边做母鸡一摇一摆的姿势边说) I am a hen . 然后蹲下来做下蛋状告诉学生：Hens can lay eggs.然后板书 hen、hens 并领读，后用大小声操练单词。

③ 教学单词 cow-- cows

T:(老师课件展示牛的图片，手指牛说：) Is this a horse? Ss:( 学生观察图后回答）No, it isn’t .

T：Yes, It is a cow. 并板书：cow 领读几遍。T：（接下来老师展示一群牛问：）Are these horses? Ss: (引导学生回答）No, they aren’t.

T：Yes , they are cows. 板书：cows  并领读。

④ 教学 sheep -- sheep

T：（教师边学绵羊叫边做绵羊的动作边自我介绍）I am a sheep.  板书 sheep  并用简笔画在黑板上画一只绵羊。引导学生拼读。然后在羊的旁边再画一只绵羊。边画边提问：

How many sheep do you see?

Ss:( 引导学生回答） Two sheep.

老师解释 sheep 的单复数形式相同。

T:( 课件展示一群绵羊图片问）Look at those sheep. What colour are they？ Ss: （同时引导学生回答）They are white.

T：Are they tall or short? Ss：They are short.

T：Do they have long tails? Ss：No, they don’t.

老师根据学生的回答板书： They are       . They have         . T:(并追问：) Do you like sheep?

Ss：Yes, we do.

T：（学生回答后老师接着说）I like them . They’re so cute.并板书句型。I like them . They’re so cute!

⑤老师小结单词的单词的单复数的边画后师生巩固学习。老师说单数形式的词，学生马  上说其复数形式；老师说复数形式的词，学生马上说其单数形式。

设计意图：通过课件和老师的动作声情并茂的展示了新词，让学生在愉快的氛围下接受  了新词。最后老师作总结，攻破了本课时的难点。

⑵ 教学句型 These are ….

老师出示图片示范说句子。

These are horses. Wow! They’re so tall.

然后全班每两人一组模仿老师的语气，选择自己喜欢的形容词来描述各种动物。  如：These are sheep.Wow! They’re so cute.

⑶ 教师播放 Let’s learn 的录音，学生跟读，教师正音。设计意图：由教材内容到实际生活，操练了核心句型。

2. 教学 B Draw and say

⑴ 老师引导学生说说他们想象中的农场里都有些什么。

设计意图：这个步骤既复习了本单元的单词，又帮助学生进行绘画前的构思。

⑵ 学生各自描绘自己的农场。

⑶ 向同桌介绍自己的农场。

⑷ 教师叫学生将自己的画贴在黑板和墙上进行展示。

设计意图：通过画动物和蔬菜并相互介绍和问答的活动，帮助学生更好地掌握单词并理解句   子的意思进一步培养他们的语言交际能力。

Step 4 Practice

活动：猜谜游戏 （Guessing game)

活动方案： 教师利用课件呈现动物身体的某一部位， 老师并用英语提示学生用句型These/Those/They are…来猜测动物。用 Wow！ They are               . They have               . 来描述赞美动物。

如：T: (课件呈现一只母鸡老师介绍说：)They have two short legs. Some of them are fat .

We eat their eggs. What are they ?

Ss：They are hens?

T: Yes, they are. （如果猜对了老师就展示全图）

Ss:( 老师引导学生对动物进行描述）Wow！They are beautiful.

设计意图：通过此活动帮助学生运用巩固本课时的核心句型: These/Those/They are….Wow！ They are               . They have               .

T：Boys and girls, Let’s look back this class. Which English phrases do you remember? Ss：horse--- horses ; cow --cows ;hen --hens ;sheep--sheep

T：Excellent! Which new sentences do you learn today? Ss：These are ….
