Unit 7 Summer holiday plans (Culture time &Cartoon time)

【教学目标】

1.知识目标：

①能听懂、会说、会读单词、短语:Uluru, the Grand Canyon, Buckingham Palace, Niagara Falls in Canada, traveller, travel around the world, travel plans.

②能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词：travel

2. 能力目标：

 ①能理解并能正确朗读Cartoon time。           

②能熟练朗读并理解Culture time。

3.情感目标： 

  ①让学生了解著名的世界旅游景点，增长学生见识，拓宽学生视野。

  ②让学生养成在做事之前制定切合实际的计划。

【课前准备】

1.常规预习:

①听录音，朗读Cartoon time3遍并翻译。

②听录音，朗读Culture time理解其大意。

③搜集并了解与Culture time有关的世界文化与自然遗产相关知识

预习导学:

  1.文化导学

Uluru ['u:ləru:]（乌鲁鲁巨石），又名艾尔斯岩石（Ayers Rock），位于澳大利亚爱丽丝泉市西南，艾尔斯岩高348米，长3000米，基围周长约9.4公里，东高宽而西低狭，是世界最大的整体岩石（体积虽巨，只是独块石头）

the Grand Canyon [grænd ˈkænjən]（美国大峡谷），又名科罗拉多大峡谷，位于美国亚利桑那州西北部，是一处世界闻名的自然奇观。峡谷中山石多为红色，景色奇异、壮观。

Buckingham Palace [ˌbʌkɪŋəm ˈpæləs]（白金汉宫），白金汉宫位于伦敦威斯敏斯特城内，是英国王室的王宫和居所，也是英国国家庆典和王室欢迎礼的主要举行场地。现在的白金汉宫会在夏季对公众开放参观，每天清晨都会进行著名的卫兵交接典礼，是英国王室文化的一大景观。

Niagara[naɪ'æɡərə ] Falls  (尼亚加拉大瀑布)，是世界第一大跨国瀑布，位于加拿大安大略省和美国纽约州的尼亚加拉河上。
