1.掌握单词:information,e-book,project,guide,film,as well,way,on,topic.

2.掌握句型:We can find information from books and CDs.

3.感知”pie ”与 ”lie ”中 ”ie ”的读音, ”light ”与 ”night ”中 ”igh”的读音, ”

girl”与 “skirt ”中 ”ir ” 的读音。

4.提高学生自主获取信息的能力,培养关心、帮助他人的美好情感。

学情分析

五年级的学生已经学习英语有两年了,有了一定的英语基础,经过三、

四年级的培养铺垫,他们对英语的学习兴趣浓厚。本课通过谈话导入,让学生能在轻松愉快的气氛中进入课程。同时,本课的知识学习主要是以学生为主导,学生自己发现知识点,自己掌握知识点,成为课堂的小主人。

重点难点

掌握单词:information,e-book,project,guide,film,as well,way,on,topic.
掌握句型:We can find information from books and CDs.

教学过程

Step 1. Warming up 

1.Greeting to each other.

2. Revision 

课件出示有关上节课的句型，让学生选择单词填入句型，从而复习上节的内容。 

3.New words.
 T:Do you like reading books? 

Ss:Yes, I do./ No, I don’t. 

T:I like reading books.I always like reading from E-books. Because I think we can find information from  books or e-books. (教新单词e-books,information ) 

4.Brainstorm

T:Where can we find information?

Ss: We can find information from .....引导学生用该句型进行头脑风暴游戏，激发学生对已学知识的重复利用。

T:You all did a good job.We often can get information from different ways.

Step 2. Presentation 

学习Part1:

1.Free talk.出示Mrs Smart的图片“I’m Mrs Smart. Now I’m the first time to travel to China. Would you like to help me?”学生给Ms Smart 提意见。

 Ss：She should find a travel guide on China .She should find e-books , CDs or films on China.通过设计这一问题问，引出并学习新单词。 

Q1：What do they want?

Q2： Where can they find them?

学习Part2：

1.Watch and answer.让我们打开电子书。有两个小朋友，他们要去做什么？谁能猜一猜？

Q1:What are they going to do?

Q2:What is the guide?

2.Listen and fill.But how to find information?Please listen carefully.

即让学生学会使用新句型，又用句型引出新的单词films和guides进行教读。 

3.Read and learn

出示不同的指南。T: This is a guide for us to get information from the school library. This is a guide for us to have a trip in Xi’an. This is a guide for us to take photos. 让学生熟悉课文中的句型。

Y: Except these,we can find information on the Internet as well.从而引出as well的教学。
