    Grammar

    Show the students grammar and make the students work in groups to discuss the use of pron. prep. and prep. phrases.

    Grammar——代词

    代词是用来代替名词的词。它是英语语法结构中的一个重要项目, 也是中考测试的重点内容之一。纵观历年中考试题, 出现频率最高的是不定代词, 其次是it用法、疑问代词、反身代词以及人称代词等。

    1)some and any

    a. someany是单数还是复数, 要看其所代替的是什么。someany既可以指人, 也可以指物, 可以表示可数的事物和人, 也可以表示不可数的概念。如: some (any) books, some (any) money, some people, some water

    b. 作为代词, 它们在句中可以作主语和宾语。

    c. some用于肯定句中, any 用于疑问句、否定句和条件句中。

    但在征求对方意见, 并希望得到肯定回答时, 要用 some

    2)none and neither

    a. noneneither都表示否定的意思, 两者的区别在于, neither 用于两者, none 用于两者以上。

    b. none除了指可数的人和物外, 还可以表示不可数的东西, 可以指与one, two, three一样的数字概念。

    3)(a) little and (a) few

    a. a littlea few表示肯定的概念, littlefew 却表示否定的概念。

    b. (a) little用于不可数名词, (a) few 用于可数名词复数。

    4)all and both

    a. all表示所有的, 全体, 一切的概念, both 表示两个都”, all指两者以上, 同时还可以指不可数的东西。

    b. allboth可用于be动词之后, 行为动词之前。

    5)each and either

    eacheither都可以表示每一个”, each 可以表示两者、也可以表示两者以上的每一个”, either只能表示两者中的每一个

    注意: either 表示一种选择, 如购买衬衣, 表示哪个都可以”, 说明购物者要买一件衬衣而不是两件都要。如表示两件都要, 则用botheach也可用于句末。

    介词是一个虚词, 是一种用来表示词与词, 词与句之间的关系的词。在句中不能单独作句子成分。介词后面一般有名词、代词或相当于名词的其他词类, 短语或从句作它的宾语。介词和它的宾语构成介词词组, 在句中作主语、 状语、 表语、 补语或介词宾语。可以表示时间、地点、方式。
