- 初步了解各个月份中的一些节日的英语表达方式。
- 让学生能说出自己喜欢的月份(1-6月)。

- words: January, February, March, April, May, June.的学习。
- sentences: When is your birthday? / When is Tree Planting Day? It’s in…的学习。

Teaching steps;
Step1: Greetings
(2)Talk about some days and activities
教师与学生交谈一些节日和活动,引出birthday话题,利用日历渗透October新词。
设计意图:通过free talk,复习相关内容,激活背景知识。
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, Miss Huang.
T: What’s the weather like today?
Ss: It’s …
T: Which season do you like best? Why?
Ss: I like ... because …
T: When is ...?
Ss: It’s in ...
T: When is my birthday? Do you know?
Ss: It’s in ...
T: It’s in October. It’s the birthday of China, too! Do you know October? Let’s count the calendar. January, February ... October.

- 引出句型When is winter vacation? It’s in… 教授January, February及缩写形式。

- 引出句型When is Mother’s Day? When is May Day? It’s in… 教授May.
- 引出句型When is Children’s Day? When is Father’s Day? It’s in… 教授June及缩写形式。

(1)Talk about Miss Huang’s trip
教师设置情景,引导学生使用一般将来时句子和相关核心句型猜测教师的旅游时间和活动。学生猜测时,教师延时回应。
T: Oliver and Chen Jie will have a school trip in October. They will go to the Great Wall. I’ll have a trip, too. When is it? Can you guess?
S1: You’ll have the trip in January?
S2: You’ll have the trip in March?
T: What will I do there? Guessing!
S1: You’ll see flowers there?
T: Good guessing! Let’s see. I’ll have the trip in May. Because I like spring. I’ll go to the Guangming Farm. I’ll milk the cows. I’ll pick fruits. I’ll pick vegetables.
设计意图:教师设置自己将要去的一次旅游,引导学生关注本课核心句型的语义和语用并初步使用核心句型。
(2)Plan your school trip
A. 教师引导学生策划自己的school trip。
T: This is my plan of the trip this year. What about you? It’s time for you to plan your school trip. When is your school trip? In March....? What will you do? Play games? Please plan your school trip.
B. 学生完成school trip plan后,小组交流。
T: Now, talk about your school trip plan with your friends.
设计意图:由教师的旅游计划过渡到学生自己的旅游计划,让学生在任务中运用所学语言。

设置母亲节情景,鼓励学生交流。引导学生感受母爱,做一个懂得感恩的孩子。
