句式精讲
1. … and yu culd see bees and butterflies dancing.
see sb. ding sth. 意为“看见某人正在做某事”,强调动作正在进行。例如:
I saw him talking with a man n my way hme yesterday.
昨天我回家的路上,看见他正在和一个人谈话。
When I entered the rm, I sawherwatching TV.
当我进门的时候,我看见他正在看电视。
【拓展】
see sb. d sth.意为“看到某人做某事”,强调看到某人做过某事或经常做某事。例如:
I ften see him dance in the classrm.
我经常看见他在教室里跳舞。
I ften see him help that ld man d cleaning at weekends.
周末,我经常看见他帮助那个老人打扫房间。
2. It smells terrible.
smell在此是系动词,意为“闻起来”,后面接形容词作表语。例如:
The sng sunds nice. 那首歌听起来很好听。
【拓展】
类似smell这种用法的词还有:feel(摸起来,感觉);lk(看起来);sund(听起来);taste(品尝)等。例如:
The fd tastes delicius. 食物尝起来很美味。
I feel s happy tday. Mum will buy me a new bike. 我今天很高兴,妈妈要为我买辆新自行车。

yu’d better 是yu had better的缩写。had better(常简略为’d better)是一固定词组,had better意为“最好”,用于表示对别人的劝告、建议或表示一种愿望。其用法有以下几点:
(1) had better后面必须跟动词原形,构成had better d sth.句型。
【注意】这里的had不能用have来替换。例如:
Yu’d better g t hspital at nce.你最好立即去医院看病。
Tm, yu’d better g there tday.汤姆,你最好今天去那里。
(2) 主语不论是第几人称,句子不论是什么时态,都要用had better的形式。例如:
Nw yu(he; we) had better listen t the teacher.你(他,我们)现在最好听老师讲。
4. It nt nly disturbs thers but als des great harm t peple’s hearing.
(1) nt als的意思是“不但……而且……”,连接两个并列成分,如果连接两个主语的时候,谓语动词和als后面的主语保持一致。例如:
Nt nly my mther but als I like t g t the garden.不仅妈妈而且我也喜欢去公园。
(2) 以nt nly…but als 开头的句子往往引起倒装。例如:
Nt nly did he cmplain abut the fd, but he refused t pay fr it.
他不仅抱怨饭不好吃,而且拒绝付饭钱。
5. Trees can stp the wind frm blwing the earth away.
stp smebdy/smething frm ding smething表示“阻止某人做某事或者阻止某事发生”。例如:
We must stp him frm ging swimming in the river.
我们必须阻止他去河里游泳。

6. Wuld yu like t be a greener persn?
Wuld yu like t d…?是询问对方的意见,邀请或请求某人做某事的一种委婉表达方法。其用法如下:
(1) 肯定句:
wuld like 后接名词或代词;wuld like t 后接动词原形,wuld 常和主语缩写为“主语+’d”。 例如:
I’d like a cup f tea. 我想喝一杯茶。
He’d like t see a film. 他想看电影。
(2)否定句:
在wuld 后加nt,意为不愿意做……,wuld nt 缩写为wuldn’t。例如:
I wuldn’t like t g t the cinema. 我不想去看电影。
(3)疑问句:
把wuld 提到主语前即可。 例如:
Wuld yu like t g t the cinema? 你愿意去看电影吗?
(4)答语:
若邀请某人做某事,肯定回答用Yes, I’d like/lve t ;否定回答用I’d like/lve t ,but…
例如:
Wuld yu like t see a film?你愿意去看电影吗?
Yes, I’d lve t. 是的,我愿意。
若邀请某人吃(喝)东西,肯定回答用Yes, please. 否定回答用N, thank yu.例如:
Wuld yu like sme tea ?你想喝茶吗?
N, thank yu. 不,谢谢。
【注意】wuld like 无人称和数的变化。

The Phne Call
