In Nvember 1979, pupils in England were able t watch a new TV prgram called Mnkey. Mst f them were hearing this stry fr the first time. Hwever, this stry is nt new t Chinese children. The Mnkey King r Sun Wukng is the main character in the traditinal Chinese bk Jurney t the West. 1979年11月，英国学生能够观看一部名叫《美猴王》的新电视节目了。他们大多数是第一次听到这个故事。然而，这个故事对中国孩子来说并不新鲜了。美猴王或者说孙悟空是中国传统的书籍《西游记》中的主人公。
