    The idea that ppularity culd have a serius impact n ne's earning ptential shuldn't cme as t much f a surprise. The researchers nted that if yu want t get ahead in life, scial skills and netwrking are easily as pwerful as talent and hard wrk.
    “If a persn has lts f friends, it means that he r she has the ability t get alng with thers in all kinds f different situatins,” said Xu Yanchun, 17, frm Nantu High Schl in Shenzhen, wh ttally agreed with the recent finding. “Als, friends always help each ther. They nt nly create wider scial circles fr yu but lift yur md when yu ccasinally feel depressed,” said Xu. She believed that all this helps yu “earn a higher salary”.
    Maybe that's why sme peple think the yunger generatins are in the age f friendahlism(交友狂症). A wman even cmplained that the netwrking website Facebk's 5,000­friend limit was t lw fr her large reserve f scial cntacts.
    But what des a friend mean? Shuld friends be regarded as a frm f currency?
