Wind power is a very clean source of energy. This is how wind power works. Wind makes windmills spin (旋转). When the windmills spin, they make electricity. Then we can use the electricity. A lot of people think that wind power is new, but that’s not true. For thousands of years, people have used wind to sail boats and move water. Wind power is a very popular source of energy. Most people think that we should use it more and more. First of all, it’s clean. Windmills don’t pollute the environment at all. You see people in movies celebrating a white Christmas in England or the United States. But Christmas in Australia is different.

Australians celebrate the holiday on Dec.25th. It is at the hottest time of the year in Australia. The temperature is usually about 30°C in most cities and can even be over 40°C．There is certainly no white Christmas in Australia.

Because it is so hot, the tradition is to have a lunch outside and to swim in the pool or beach. Do you like games? Do you like playing games with children? Children have their own rules in playing games. They seldom need a referee(裁判) and hardly trouble to keep scores. They don’t care much about who wins or loses, and it doesn’t seem to worry them if the game is not finished. Yet, they like games that depend a lot on luck, so that their personal abilities can’t be directly compared.
