肯定句与否定句之间的转换,主要涉及谓语动词的变化。具体变化如下:
1. 系动词 be 的否定,含有系动词be (am, is, are, was, were) 的句子,变否定时,均在其后加nt。实意动词的否定,根据不同的时态和人称在实意动词前加不同的词。
如:一般现在时态加dn’t或desn’t; 一般过去时态加didn’t等。
She is the yungest in her class. 她是班里最年轻的。→She is nt the yungest in her class. 她不是班里最年轻的。My elder brther wrks in that schl. 我哥哥在那所学校工作。→My elder brther desn’t wrk in that schl. 我哥哥不在那所学校工作。
2. 助动词的否定,含有助动词的句子,变否定时,一般在其后加 nt。情态动词的否定一般也在其后加 nt。
He has read the bk. 他读过这本书。→He has nt read the bk. 他没读过这本书。We shuld help him. 我们应该帮助他。→We shuld nt help him. 我们不应该帮助他。
二、肯定句变否定句的一些注意事项
在否定句的变化中,除了变化谓语部分外,还应该变化一些单词。如:sme→any; t→either; already→yet; and→r 等。
【温馨提示】注意一些表示部分否定的形式。如: nt bth表示“并非两者都”; nt all表示“并非全部都”; nt every表示“并非每个都”等。
可以用n, never, little, few, nbdy, nthing, seldm, hardly, t ... t等与肯定形式的谓语动词连用表示否定。
如:I have never been there. 我从没去过那儿。
1. 含有系动词、助动词或情态动词的陈述句构成一般疑问句时,一律将系动词、助动词或情态动词提到句首。
一般疑问句是用yes或n来回答的问句,朗读时用升调,以系动词、助动词或情态动词开头。陈述句变为一般疑问句的具体方法如下:
例句:They were wrking at this time last Mnday.→Were they wrking at this time last Mnday? 上周一这个时候他们正在工作吗?They have learnt English fr tw years.→Have they learnt English fr tw years? 他们学英语两年了吗?Jenny can speak Chinese.→Can Jenny speak Chinese? 詹妮能说汉语吗?
如:一般现在时态加 d / des,一般过去时态加 did 等。需要注意的是:句子句首要用助动词 d / des / did,后面的谓语动词则用动词原形。
2. 含实义动词的陈述句,构成一般疑问句时,要根据不同的时态在句首加不同的助动词。
例句: Li Ming reads English every mrning.→Des Li Ming read English every mrning? 李明每天早晨读英语吗?
特殊疑问句是以疑问词引导的问句。其结构为:“疑问词 + 一般疑问句?”。回答时,要根据具体情况作具体回答。常见的疑问词及用法如下:
2. 询问身体状况、生活情况等用hw。
1. 询问姓名、职业、体重、长相等用what。
3. 询问时间用what time或when; 询问星期用what day; 询问日期用what's the date。
4. 询问一段时间用hw lng;询问某事过多久将会发生用hw sn;询问某动作发生的频率用hw ften。
5. 询问原因用why。
7. 询问年龄用hw ld;询问距离用hw far。
8. 询问颜色用what clur。
6. 询问数量,对可数事物用hw many;对不可数事物用hw much, hw much还可以用来询问“价格”。
