Attention!

1.Lucy and Lily’s ( Lucy and Lily) father is a teacher.

possessive pronouns

In English, we can also use possessive pronouns to express the idea of belonging.

Question:

Do we put a noun after a possesstive      pronoun?

We __________ (need, do not need) to put a noun after a possessive pronoun.

Key: do not need

 1.形容词性物主代词位于名词前，用作定语, 限定该名词的意义.

2.名词性物主代词在句中充当主语，宾语或表语相当于“形容词性物主代词+名词”，后面不能再跟名词。

口诀：

     1.有“名”则“形”。This is my toy.

     后面是名词，前面就要用形容词性物主代词。

     2.无“名”则“名”。This toy is mine.

  后面没有名词，就用名词性物主代词。
