Lesson 13 How Old Are You?

教案1

教学目标：

1.知识目标：掌握本课重点概念 How old are you? I’m _____years old.

2.情感目标：感知英语的实用性，增强学习英语的兴趣。通过多样性的活动，激励学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生在英语课堂中不断体验进步，认识自我，建立自信。

教学重点： 

掌握和运用句型How old are you? I’m _____.

教具、学具：

图片、录音机及磁带、单词卡片、课件等

教学过程

Step 1 Presentation(新课呈现)：

1.师生交流：How are you? / What's your name? / How old are you? / What's your father's name? / How old is he?

通过随意地师生间的交流，将话题逐渐过渡到新语言项目上来。

2.师生（三人）对话：

A. What's his name?

B. His name is________.

A. How old is he?

C. How old are you?

C. I'm twelve.

B. He's twelve.

A. Thank you.

教师与个别学生先做几组示范，使其他学生明确要说什么。学生之间做类似问答练习（可区别于教师的示范）。

C．问答练习：How old is he? He is ____years old.

学生可就同学的情况进行回答，问题中涉及到的的学生可以扮演不同年龄的孩子，增加问答的趣味性。

Step 2 Practice(趣味练习)：

1.教师出示主题图。

2.教师指图提问 (或教师示范两个问题，其余的由学生提问)，学生回答。

What's the girl's name? Her name is..  How old is she? She is...Who's that girl? She is...

How old is she? She is...What's the woman's name? Her name is...How old is she? I don't know.

3.教师借助手势、表情及语言表示：I can't tell you. It's a secret. (我不告诉你，这是个秘密。) 帮助学生明白其中的意思。向学生介绍小知识：在西方国家，人们不喜欢别人直接问年龄。因此对于西方人，尤其是女士和年长的人不要问他（她）的年龄。

Step 3 Homework:

1.熟读并背诵本课所学的单词及句型。

2.根据所学内容设计两个短对话并写在作业本上。
