【记忆口诀】 基数变序数，多数词尾加-th。 一、二、三特殊记，词尾字母t, d, d。 八去t, 九去e，字母f把ve替，然后再加-th。 遇到几十几，只变个位就可以。 序数词表顺序，一般须加定冠词。
1. 序数词要加定冠词the。但当序数词前有物主代词(his, her…)、指示代词(this, that…)等修饰时，则不必再用the。如： n the third flr 在三楼 n his twelfth birthday 在他十二岁生日这天
2. 序数词常用缩写形式，“阿拉伯数字+个位序数词的后两个字母”。如：ne → 1st; secnd→ 2nd; third → 3rd; twelfth → 12th; twenty-sixth → 26th3. 序数词可表示日期“几月几日”中的“几日”。如: August 17th 8月17日 Octber 1st 10月1日
4. 表示分数时，分子常用基数词，分母 用序数词。分子大于一时，分母加s。 如： a /ne half 二分之一 three furths /three quarters 3/4
