    第二节(满分25分)
Leaving everyne cnfused, Miss Rbinsn rushed ut t the jewelry shp. When she gt t the shp, she explained her arrival. On hearing what she said, the shpkeeper checked the recrd in a hurry. "Oh, my Gd!" He fund he had given her the wrng string f pearls wrth fifty thusand punds. Pleased t get the valuable pearls back, the shpkeeper gave Miss Rbinsn three hundred punds in return. A large sum f mney fr her! But she refused plitely and left with her wn fifteen-shilling beads.
Miss Rbinsn came back t the dinner table and everyne stared at her surprisingly. She sat dwn and passed the string ver t Cunt Brselli. "Hw much are these beads wrth?" she asked. Cunt Brselli lked at them fr a mment. The tw wrds "Fifteen shillings" escaped his lips. But he seemed puzzled: it wasn't that frmer string! Everyne sat still, their ears ccked. Miss Rbinsn smiled and tld the whle stry in an rdinary vice. "That's it," she said calmly. At this mment, everyne failed t say anything, embarrassed.

    Text 10
M: We’re glad t have Dr Garfield t talk t us tday abut dreams. Let me start by asking the first questin. Des everyne dream?
W: It appears that everyne des. Mstly, when peple say that they never dream, what they really mean is that they dn’t remember their dreams r they dn’t think their dreams are imprtant. The reasn behind is that they might have been made fun f as a child when they first reprted their dreams r it was s frightening that they just turned ff dreaming cmpletely. The ther day smene named Davis came t me and said that he used t be a great dreamer. But suddenly, he stpped having dreams. I asked him what had happened. It turned ut that his brther died f a heart attack. And he never expected that such a terrible thing wuld happen t a yung persn. Generally, when there was sme frightening event and t dream abut it was t terrible, peple prefer nt t dream abut it. Actually, the wrst thing yu can d is stp dreaming, because it means that the bad experience was t painful t even appear in dreams. As lng as yu’re dreaming abut it and even if the dreams are frightening, yur mind is wrking n it. My persnal pinin abut what dreams d is that they help us deal with ur prblems. We see certain patterns take place in dreams when a persn is hurt deep inside, when a persn is seriusly ill r when a persn has been really sad. If peple turn ff their dreams ttally, it means they dn’t allw themselves t even think abut it.
