教学目标

◆ 语言知识目标

1.学习单词bedroom，floor，water，plant，toilet和词组make my bed，clean my room，wash my clothes，water the flowers等。

2.学习句型：Now clean your bedroom.

First make the bed.

Then pick up the toys on the floor.

Please help me clean the toilet.

Can you…？Yes，I can.

3.学说韵律诗：What Can I Do?

4.功能：谈论自己会做的家务事。

1.能正确认读和书写有关做家务的语句。

2.能就做家务这一话题做简短叙述。

◆ 情感态度

教育学生在日常生活中要学会做力所能及的家务事，为家长分担日常繁杂的生活重担。

教具准备

1.卡片：

（1）单词卡片toilet，bedroom，water，plant，floor等。

（2）词组卡片clean the bedroom，clean the toilet，make the bed，water the flowers，water the plants等。

2.“叠被子”“浇花”“浇植物”“玩具”“卫生间”等图片。

3.录音机或教学光盘。

教学过程

Step 1  Warming up

1.师生互致问候。

2.听录音，齐唱歌曲：Pick Up Your Toys。

3.揭示并板书课题：Unit 5 Housework Part B。

Step 2  Revision

1.请学生出示上节课的作业：“用英语写出你所做过的家务”，个别学生口头展示作业。

2.教师将学生所说的语句写在黑板上。

3.学生熟读黑板上的句子。

Step 3Presentation

（一）初读课文，理解课文大意。

1.教师出示下面的练习：

Sally’s mother    Sally     Ben   Kate

2.教师说：“Sally’s family will do some housework today.What do they want to do？Let’s listen and connect.”

3.教师播放课文录音，学生认真听，然后完成练习。

4.教师出示正确答案，并根据答案进行新知识的学习。

（二）学习新知识。

1.教学单词toilet和句子Please help me clean the toilet.

（1）教师说：“Sally and her mother will clean the toilet.Please find the sentences in the dialogue.”

导出单词toilet的教学，并与WC进行对比。教师出示图片让学生感知toilet，告诉学生toilet意为厕所、盥洗室，是较为正式文雅的称呼。WC意为公共厕所，是非常口语的一种说法。

（2）教师出示一些图，请学生看图说话，如：

Please help me clean the window.

Please help me clean the classroom.

Please help me clean the bedroom.

（3）教学单词bedroom，告诉学生，这也是复合词，由bed（床）和room（房间）合并构成的。教师出示clean the bedroom和clean the toilet，学生操练。

2.教学单词water和plant，教学句子Water the plants.

（1）教师指着前面练习上的图问：“What does Mom want Ben to do？”在“给植物浇水”图下出示词组water the plants。

（2）出示单词卡片water，教学water和water the plants。告诉学生water作为名词表示“水”，作为动词表示“浇水”。如：

water the flowers（浇花）water the trees(浇树）

 （3）请学生看课本第38页的第二段，读一读母亲与Ben的对话。告诉学生a piece of cake是英语口语，意思是“很容易的事”。

3.教学单词floor和词组make the bed，教学句子Pick up the toys on the floor.

（1）出示整理床铺的图片，教学make the bed，并板书在相应的图下。

（2）教学单词floor和词组on the floor。

（3）出示图片，看图说话，如：

Pick up the toys on the floor.Pick them up，please.

Pick up the paper on the floor.Pick it up，please.

Pick up the books on the floor.Pick them up，please.

…

4. 学习课文第一段，突出now，first，then的用法。

（三）熟读课文，分角色表演对话。

1.请学生翻开课本第38页，教师播放课文录音二至三遍，学生模仿跟读。

2.教师再播放录音，请学生分角色跟读。

3.教师将对话中四个人物的头像分给四位学生，请他们表演对话。

4.情感教育。教师说：“我们在日常生活中要学会做力所能及的家务事，为家长分担日常繁杂的事务。”

（四）巩固练习。

1.学说韵律诗：What Can I Do?

What Can I Do？我能做什么？

Mom is busy. 妈妈忙。

Dad is busy，too.爸爸也忙。

I want to help.我想帮忙。

What can I do?我能做什么？

I can wash my clothes.我可以洗衣服。

And clean my room.我可以整理房间。

I can water the flowers,我可以浇花，

And the trees，too.还可以给小树浇水。

2.完成课本第41页的Listen and tick.部分。

（1）教师播放录音，学生独立完成练习，教师个别指导。

（2）展示个别学生所做的练习，教师讲解并订正。

听力材料：

A：Hi，Sally.Do you often do housework?

B：Yes.I make my bed every morning.I clean my room every week.

A：Do you clean the table after dinner?

B：Yes.I wash my clothes，too.

A：Does Ben do any housework?

B：Yes.He waters the flowers in the garden.

A：Does he wash his clothes?

B：Yes.He washes them by washing machine.

A：What can Kate do now?

B：She can make her bed and clean the table.

3. 完成课本第39页的Read.Tick or cross.部分。[

（1）请学生自读短文，完成练习，教师巡视，个别指导。

（2）展示个别学生所做的练习，教师讲解并订正。

（3）请学生说一说Sally与Kate会做和不会做的家务事。

Step 4 Extension

综合活动：制订一周做家务计划表。

1.完成课本第39页的Answer the questionnaire.部分。

（1）请学生读一读这6个句子。

（2）学生独立完成练习。

（3）与同桌同学说一说自己会做的家务。

2.出示一周做家务计划表，告诉学生：在家里自己的事情要自己做，同时应尽量帮助父母做些力所能及的家务事。给学生一个表格，请学生制订计划填表格。完成后，请个别学生谈谈自己的计划，其余同学给予评价。

Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Help Mom clean the room.

Step 5 Homework

1.听录音，熟读本课内容。

2.完成《活动手册》中本课的练习。

3.完成课本第40页的Learn to write.部分。

4.完成课本第42页自我评价表。
