Present the wrds abut clthes and make sure Ss knw each wrd then fill in the bxes in Part A n Page 93.
Step 4. Listen and read
1. Listen t the cnversatin between Millie and Mum, then answer the questins.

2) Why desn’t she wear Mum’s bluse?
2. Read alud and then make a similar cnversatin abut brrwing things frm thers.

2. Read and act
Read alud the cnversatin in grups, then present the cmic strip n the screen fr the Ss t act ut the cnversatin.

这里what t wear是“疑问词+ 动词不定式 ”结构, 在句中做think abut
的宾语。

= anther ten minutes 再花十分钟
e.g. We need five mre chairs. 我们还需要五把椅子。
spend vt. 花费,度过
常用结构 (1) Sb. + spend +time/mney ding sth.
(2) Sb. + spend + mney n sth.
e.g. He spends a lt f time playing ftball every day.
他每天花大量时间踢足球。

3. Can yu lend us yur red bluse fr ur fashin shw, Mum?
lend sb. sth. = lend sth. t sb.把某物借给某人
e.g. Can yu lend me yur bike?
你能把自行车借给我吗?
= Can yu lend yur bike t me?
注:lend 是“借给”,而英语中的 brrw 是指句子的主语将东西借进,含义是“借来”。常用结构是brrw sth. frm sb. “向某人借某物”。
e.g. Can I brrw yur car? 我可以借用你的汽车吗?
