Learn sme new wrds abut fashin.
【教学过程】
Step 1 Lead-in
Enjy a shrt vide abut a fashin shw, teach the wrd “fashin”. And draw the Ss’ interest in the fllwing wrds and expressins.
Step 2 Presentatin
Shw sme pictures t learn the new wrds:
fashin n. 时装;时尚, 风尚
think abut 考虑
spend vt. 度过;花费(钱、时间等)
lazy adj. 懒惰的
bluse n. (女子穿的)短上衣,衬衫
tie n. 领带
lend vt. 借给
Step 3 Learn sme wrds abut clthes
Present the wrds abut clthes and make sure Ss knw each wrd then fill in the bxes in Part A.
Step 4.Brrwing things
1.Listen t the cnversatin between Millie and Mum, then answer
1) What des Millie need fr the fashin shw?
2) Why desn’t she wear Mum’s bluse?
2.Read alud and then make a similar cnversatin abut brrwing things frm thers.
A: Can yu lend me/ us …?
B: Of curse.
A: What size/ clur is/ are yu …?
B: …
A: Oh, it’s … but … can … it/ them.
B: OK then.
A: Thank yu …
Step 5 Listen and fill in the blanks.
Listen t the cnversatin between Eddie and Hb, then fill the blanks:
Eddie is ________ abut what t wear. But Hb tells him dgs dn’t _______ clthes. S Eddie wants t ________ ten mre minutes in bed.He is a ______ dg.
Step 6 Read and act
Read alud the cnversatin in grups, then present the cmic strip n the screen fr the Ss t act ut the cnversatin.
Step 7 Explain
1.wear 穿着,戴着 (表示穿、戴的状态)
put n 穿上,戴上 (表示穿戴的动作)
e.g. She likes wearing red.
她喜欢穿红色。
It’s cld utside. Put n yur cat.
外面冷,穿上外套。
2.think abut sth.
考虑某事;想起某事
e.g. She is thinking abut hw t spend her hliday. 她正考虑如何度假呢。
Dn't think abut it any mre.
不要再去想这事了。
3.what t wear 意思是“穿什么”,英语中“疑问词+ t d ”是一个短语而不是句子。
e.g. I dn’t knw what t d. 我不知道该怎么办?
Let me tell yu hw t d it.
让我告诉你如何做这件事。
4.spend vt 花费,度过
常用结构
(1)Sb.+ spend +time/mney ding sth.
(2)Sb.+ spend + mney n sth.
E.g. He spends a lt f time playing ftball every day. 他每天花大量时间踢足球。
Hw much des she spend n clthes every year? 她每年在衣服上花多少钱?
5.spend ten mre minutes = anther ten minutes 再花十分钟
E.g. We need five mre chairs.
6.lend sb. sth. = lend sth. t sb. 把某物借给某人
E.g. Can yu lend me yur bike? 你能把自行车借给我吗?= Can yu lend yur bike t me?
注:lend 是“借给”,而英语中的 brrw 是指句子的主语将东西借进,含义是“借来”。常用结构是brrw sth. frm sb. “向某人借某物”。
E.g. Can I brrw yur rubber? 我可以借用你的橡皮吗?

一、根据Millie 与Mum的对话内容填空:
