An infectius disease is a disease that is caused by the invasin f a hst by pathgens(病原体)whse activities harm the hst’s tissues and can be spread t ther individuals.
Micrrganisms(微生物)capable f causing disease are called pathgens. A true pathgen is an infectius agent that causes disease in any pssible hst. The terms “infectin” and “disease” are quite different.
