    Step 1: Warmer
    1.T greets Ss.
    2.Sing a sng: “The dctr n the bus”.
    Step 2: Revisin
    1.CAI shws a pht.
    T: “Lk! This is a family pht f XiaWanzi. Hw many peple are there?” Ss: Five.
    T: Wh are they? This is ….
    2. Review the wrds: mther/ father/ grandpa/ grandma/ sister. Let Ss read in grup r in rw.
    Practice the sentences: This is my mther. / This is my father….
    T: “Wh’s like t be XiaWanzi? Can yu intrduce yur family?”
    Let a student cme t frnt f class, then pints t the pht and intrduce the family members. Practice mre if necessary.
    Step 3: Presentatin
    1.CAI shws a picture.

    Ss: Hua Mulan.
    T: Is that a by r a girl? (Bb-writing: She’s a girl.)
    Ss read the sentence ne by ne.

    3.Game: Quick respnse.
    T says a name f a by r a girl, Let Ss judge: He’s a by./ She’s a girl.
    4. T:Lk at this picture. What is she? Ss: Teacher.
    T:Yes. She’s a teacher.(T writes this sentence n Bb. Then let Ss read it.)

    Learn the new wrds: dctr, pliceman.
    Let Ss practice the sentences: He’s a dctr/pliceman.
    Step 4: Practice
    1.Watch the CD-ROME. Let Ss listen t the part 1 n bk
    2.Listen and repeat part1.
    3.Watch the CD-ROME. Let Ss listen t the stry f part 2.
    4.Ask and answer: What is Sam’s father/mther?
    5.Repeat the part 2.

    Shw new pictures and learn new wrds “driver, pupil”.

    2.Write the tw wrds n the blackbard: driver, pupil.
    3.Read them ludly.
    4. Add “She’s, He’s” n the Bb.
    5.Read the sentences grup by grup.
    Step 4: Practice
    1.Shw sme families’ cards. Read it tgether. The men n the cards are nurse, driver, dctr, and pliceman pupil. (mther father grandma grandpa brther and me )
    2.Get several Ss play the rles. Wh read the wrd fastest can play the rle.(stand beside the platfrm)
    3. Let Ss hand up t practice the sentence pattern “This is my … She’s/He’s …”
    Step 5: Sing a sng and say gdbye.
