2)Grasp the usage of such important expressions :

3) Master the sentence pattern:

Step 1: Greetings.
Step 2: Difficulties and key sentences explaination.
1. common adj. 共同的;共有的;常见的;寻常的;普通的
have…in common 在……方面有共同之处
in common 共有;公有
in common with sb./sth. 与……相同
2. work out 锻炼身体;计算出;理解;了解;处理;解决
work off (通过消耗体力)宣泄感情
work over 拷问;追问
work up 逐步发展
3. It took+一段时间+before+从句(一般过去时)
It will (not) be+时间段+before+从句(现在时)
要过一段时间后才……(用不了一段时间就……)
It was (not) +时间段+before+从句(过去时)
过了一段时间后才……(没过一段时间就……)
4. as在句中作连词, 引导时间状语从句,意思是“随着;当……时”。
go by (时光)逝去;依照;依赖;根据……做判断
5. so/such. . . that引导结果状语从句,意为“如此……以至于”。
6. lonely adj. 孤独的;寂寞的;人迹罕见的;偏僻的
7. let/leave ab alone 让某人独处
let alone 更不必说
all alone 独自的
8. connect vt. & vi. 联系;连接;给接通电话
connected adj. 连结的;连接的;关联的
connection n. 连结;连接;联系
in connection with 与……有关系; 关于
be connected with 与……有关; 与……有亲戚关系
connect… with/to 把……与……连接起来
connect with 相连;衔接
9. anyhow adv. (也作anyway) 无论如何;即使如此
Step 3: Exercise on text book.
1). Pair work: One student say English meaning and the other student to guess the word to finish exercise 1. on page 20
2). Let the students try to fill in the blanks on exercise 2 use the phrases. And then check.
3).Try to complete the story in exercise 3 page 20.
Step 4: Homework.
- Review the text and read it fluently. Try to retell the development of the computer..
- Finish Page56 Ex.2.& 3
