Part A

Let’s learn & Let’s chant

【教学目标】

1. 能够听、说、认读tomato、green beans、potato、carrot。

3. 能够在图片的帮助下听懂并跟唱歌谣。

【教学重难点】

能够听、说、认读tomato、green beans、potato、carrot。

【课前准备】

1. 单词卡片、教学挂图；

2. 教学光盘或其他录音机设备；

3. 教学课件。

【教学过程】

Step 1：Warm-up  

（1） 课件呈现水果图片，如苹果、梨、橘子等，问Are these…?请学生用Yes, they are.或No, they aren’t.进行判断。

  （2） 表演Let’s talk对话。 

Step 2： Presentation  

（1） 对话表演完，教师问：What do Mike and Sarah see at the farm?学生回答：Tomatoes and carrots.

（2） 教师出示carrots的卡片问：What are they? What colour are they? Are they big or small?学生回答。教师适时板书：carrots和They’re…

（3）教师出示一个和几个西红柿的图片，教学单词tomato和tomatoes。

教师运用句型Look at the…They’re…示范描述tomatoes或carrots,学生选择其一进行描述。

（4）教师在单词tomato旁边板书 o a o然后读单词potato,让学生根据发音规则填出三个辅音字母，并拼读potato.由“破土而出”帮助学生记忆potato就是“土豆、马铃薯”。并提示复数变化也是加“es”变成potatoes。

（5）教师出示豆类图片和单词bean，引导学生尝试拼读。然后出示扁豆图片，问：What colour are they?请学生回答：They are green.

教师接着说：Yes, they are green beans. Are they short? Ss: No, they aren’t.

（6）播放Let’s learn录音，学生跟读，学习正确的语音语调。

Step 3： Consolidation and extension  

（1）学习Let’s chant。

① 教师展示Let’s chant。部分图片，并提问：Do you like tomatoes/potatoes? What do you like? How about onions?展示洋葱，并板书：But onions make me cry.

② 教师播放chant光盘，学生边听边感知节奏，并跟唱。

③ 学生小组表演Let’s chant部分的内容,教师表扬优秀小组。

④ 学生根据自己的实际情况改编chant,并说唱给朋友听。

 （2） 教师出示单词卡片，让学生开火车认读单词，并运用句型They’re …尝试描述特征。

Step 4： Homework  

将所学新单词抄写在四线三格里。

【教学反思】

本课时主要学习四种蔬菜词汇。教师巧妙结合教上一课时情景，引出本课时的patato和carrot,并在巩固单词的同时，训练学生运用句型They’re…来描述蔬菜。然后借助单词的构词，由tomato巧妙引出potato,最后学习green beans,并将单词有机地结合在一起，编成chant形式进行操练，实行了在句子中学习单词，由单词学习句子的双向互动模式。
