教学设计
一、指导思想与理论依据(Theoretical Basis)
(2011) 版英语课程标准明确指出:义务教育阶段英语课程的总目标:通过英语的学习使学生形成初步的综合语言运用能力,促进心智发展,提高综合人文素养。当前发展学生核心素养已成为全社会共同关注的话题,英语学科的核心素养主要包括语言能力、文化意识、思维品质和学习能力。小学英语课堂教学中以英语学科的核心素养培养为基础,逐渐渗透,养成良好学习习惯,正确思维方式,为未来初、高中英语学科的顺利衔接,逐步深入打下扎实的基础。本节课将着重关注学生的语言能力、学习能力、思维品质和文化意识的形成,通过各种情境充分感知体验,进行真实表达,同时学生通过分析,推理和发挥想象等一系列活动,提高学生英语学科核心素养。
二、整体设计思路(Design Ideas)
本课根据《课标》及学生学习语言的认知规律进行设计。注重直观形象,通过听,说,读,圈,图片展示,小组竞赛等形式让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中学习语言的运用并深化安全意识。
三、 教学分析(Teaching Analysis)
(一)教材分析(Analysis of the Teaching Material)
本节课是冀教版三年级起点六年级上册第12课的内容。教材以故事的形式向学生们讲述路上的安全事项,其中有四位小学生的对话,背景设置在开学第一天的公交车站,更加贴近生活,形象生动是讲授交通安全知识很好的载体,这节课包含了前几课所学习过的always、often、sometimes、never的内容,引导学生在了解故事的过程中自然而然的复习旧知识,并通过读后活动对其进行巩固提升,在阅读的过程中增强安全意识,提升英语学习的信心。
(二)学情分析(Analysis of Students)
本节授课对象是小学六年级的学生。经过三年的学习,学生已经掌握了一些基本的英语知识并具备了一定的语言组织能力,交通安全知识已经深入头脑,只是不知道用英语怎样表达,以及用到这些英语的语言知识的环境,另外学生英语水平层次不齐,部分学生已感觉英语读写越来越吃力,需要激励和促进,教师需要引导和鼓励学生,并发展学生的阅读策略,降低阅读难道,培养阅读信心,教学设计中不同层级的问题和活动,能增强学生的参与意识,鼓励学生发言,在这一课中有很多日常生活的图片,会增强学生们的兴趣。
(三)背景分析(Analysis of Background)
就本课内容来讲学生对故事设定的地点和情境十分熟悉,对于故事课文的模式也有所了解,但是本课内容涉及的词汇量较大,读起来相当吃力。此外,从阅读的角度上来看学生欠缺这类文章的阅读方法,从思想意识上来看,学生对于学习路上交通安全的重要性认识不足,均需要指点和强调。
四、 教学设计(Teaching Designs)
(一)语言知识目标(Target of Language Knowledge)
1.能在图片和教师的帮助下听懂并读懂故事。
2.能声情并茂地朗读故事并在教师的帮助下复述表演故事。
(二)语言能力目标(Target of Language Technical)
1.学习在情境中猜测词义 。
2.学习找故事中心意思和根据问题提炼关键词的方法。
(三)学习策略目标(Target of Learning Strategy)
1.培养学生的合作探究意识。
2.培养学生的竞争意识和遵规守纪和自我保护的意识。

培养学生的安全意识和遵规守纪的品格。
五、教学重点和难点(Teaching Key Points and Difficulties)
能在教师的帮助下听懂并读懂故事并进行表演。

七、教学过程(Teaching Procedures)
(一)课前热身(Warming up)
T:Hello,boys and girls.Welcome back!Good morning,everyone.
Ss:Good morning,Miss ....
Play a game with the students by showing some pictures about traffic rules on PPT.Teacher uses the sentence model“It is safe to...when...”and“It is not safe to...while...”
T:Do you think it is true or false?
Ss:Yes or No.
T:It is/is not safe to....
(Words:safe/cross the street/seat belt/the zebra crossing...)
( Purpose: To teach the word“safe”and help them know part of the phrases in the story.And students can get into the story situation where Ss can learn what to do on the way.)
(二)讲授(Presentation)
Step1:While reading(Pictures1-2)
Watch a video about pictures one and two.
T:Guess what the story is about?
Ss:Being safe on the way.
(Ways:watch the video——teacher ask questions——Ss answer ——T write the title.)
(Purpose: 1.Get to know the characters in the story.2.Learn a method of reading --the title is always the main idea of a story.)
Go on reading after the tape 、 show PPT with questions with “when/where/who/what/how”and then do the exercise “the summary”.
(Ways:T asks--Ss answer-- remember and retell)
(Purpose: 1.Further the impression to the people in the story and learn about the background.2.Teach a way of reading a story---with the help of questions words.)
Step2 Pictures3-6
Watch the video ,circle the key words to the question “How to be safe on the way”, and then read the second part of the story.
(Ways:Ss circle the rules on the way and guess the the meaning of the difficult words--careful/watch for/look to the left and to the right/before/while/close to,and act out the meaning of the words,at last act the second part out.)
T:What are they talking about?
T:What is the meaning of “watch for/take/close to...”
T:Read after the tape and then act them out.
(Purpose: 1.Practice the reading of the Ss.2.Practice Ss’s ability of guessing words.3.Develop Ss’s awareness of cooperation.)
Step3 Pictures7-9
Watch the video , read the third part carefully and then do “Judge and Correct”.
T:Don’t play on the bus.Don’t stand .Don’t talk.Don’t put your hands and head out of the window.Please wear your seat belts.
(Ways:Listen and read carefully.)
(Purpose:Develop the Ss’s ability of reading carefully and the Ss’s safety awareness on the bus.)
Step4 Test and Expand
Match the pictures with the sentences.
(Ways:Read the picture and then match.)
(Purpose:1.Make sure the Ss know what to do on the way.
2.Develop the ability of reading pictures.)
T:Please remember two tips and “Safety is as simple as ABC”.A is for “Always”. B is for “Be”.C is for “careful”.
Ss:Always be careful!
(Ways:Discuss --Match --Read together)
(Purpose:Further the safety awareness.)
Step5 Consolidation
Read the sentences on the blackboard together.
T:Obey the traffic rules is very very important.It is a kind of self protection. Do as what you learn today.Try to be a security guard.And always be a good social people!
(三)Homework
1.Know more traffic rules by reading or surfing on the Internet.
2.Make newspapers by hand.

本课是一节生活故事课,一篇故事放在这个单元结束的部分,作为这一个单元的巩固和补充。教师在课上通过运用图片、多媒体课件,引导学生观察图片、分析图片,多种形式巩固和补充来帮助学生内化新知识点,培养学生英语阅读的兴趣和初步的阅读能力。课程导入环节,师生的亲切问候、交流,使学生尽快参与到课堂活动中来。想一想,听一听,问一问,玩一玩,演一演等手段学习故事,增强学生与文本的互动机会。教师通过课后的提问让学生进行思考,体会故事的内涵,借此对学生进行情感教育,培养学生的安全意识。
