【教学目标】
1.知识与技能
(1)能够听说月份的单词:
January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December, autumn, Canada, cold, cool, in, remember, season, spring, summer, warm, when, where, which, why, wind, winter.
(2)能够听说句子When is Toby's birthday?/ Nice to meet you.
(3)能朗读歌谣。
2.过程与方法
用日历直观呈现月份单词,在观察、比较、感知的过程中,指导学生识记单词的方法,通过童谣和游戏使学生熟悉十二个月的名称及其顺序。
3.情感、态度与价值观
在童谣活动中发散学生的思维,培养学生的韵律感,激发学生的学习兴趣,形成有效的学习策略。
【教学重点】
月份单词的读音及其先后顺序。
【教学难点】
某些月份的单词: January, February, April, August.
【教学准备】
录音机、动物卡片8张、句型卡片2张、PPT、一首儿歌、新型贴花、四位农民的卡片及对应的卡纸、单词卡、教材相配套的教学录音带。
【教学过程】
Step 1.Warm-up
Sing the song.
Step 2.Presentation
1.Introduce the new words.
(1)出示日历介绍一年的12个月。
There are 12 months in a year.
(2)Teacher: January. The first month of the year.
学生跟读、拼读单词。
每介绍一个月份,将月份单词的卡片贴在黑板上。
(3)学习其他单词方法同上。
2.Read these words after the teacher.
Teacher: Who has a birthday in January?
Stand up. Students say the months one by one.
3.让学生观察月份单词,看看有什么发现。
归纳,分组读单词。
4.Chant together.
January January, January and February.
February February, February and March.
March March, March and April.
……
先跟着教师唱,然后学生试着唱
5.Play a game.
The teacher says “mouths” and “months”, first in the correct order and then in jumbled order without using her voice.
The students repeat it.
6.Have a match.
A: January. B: January, February. C: January, February, March. D: January, February, March, April…
学生进行单词接龙比赛。获胜者将获得一个学习小水滴.
Teacher: Perfect. You have got good memory. This is for you. Give him a big hand.
7.Listen and number the pictures in Part 2.
Step 3.Say the birthday chant
1.The teacher plays the chant twice and asks: When is Toby's birthday?
The students listen to the chant and answer.
2.Play again and check.
3.Learn and say: Remember.
将remember写在November、December之后,老师读11、12月份的单词,让学生边听边想,鼓励学生这个单词谁能试着读出来。
指名读单词。
Step 4.Practice
1. Ask students to practice the dialogues in pairs.
2. Ask students to finish questions in "3a" and "3b", then check the answer.
3. Ask students to do the rest of the exercises and check the answers.
4. Teacher shows the pictures in 7a and 7b and asks students to describe the picture, then write down the words.
5. Group work to finish the exercises in 7a and 7b part.
Step 5.Summary
Review what you have learned today. The teacher summarizes what you have learned today.

1.抄写单词十遍。
2.熟悉本课的知识。
3.朗读课文。
4.了解本课的情景语境,学会运用新句子造句。
5.将新学习的语法或句型知识跟班级同学相互练习,加强巩固记忆。
