【教学目标】
1.学习新单词:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. 让学生能听懂会说My favorite day is …,并能在实际情境中运用。
2.通过游戏、小组合作等形式提高学生的学习兴趣。
3.通过唱歌、涂色等过程激发学生对学习兴趣,培养学生的观察能力和逻辑思维能力。
【教学重点】
让学生能听懂会说:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
【教学难点】
句型My favorite day is …在实际情境中的运用。
【教学准备】
录音机、教材相配套的教学录音带、课件、单词卡。
【教学过程】
Step 1.Warming up
1.Greetings.
2.Say a chat: The days of the week.
Show a calendar, learn the word "week" and write the topic.
Teacher teaches the pupils the new words of the days of the week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Step 2.Let's find their favorite days
1.Teacher shows new word cards. Students read and spell them quickly.
2.Play a guessing game:
Teacher shows the first letters of the words, let pupils guess: What day is it? If they guess two or three words, teacher continues to show the second letter of that word. Then ask pupils to go on guessing.
Step 3.Listen and sing the song
1.Story learning
Teacher: Let's learn a story—Emma's new room.
After students read the story. Teacher explains the key words and sentences in the story.
Teacher: Can you tell me what color does Emma hate?
Students: Pink.
Teacher: Yes. Emma hates pink. (Write the sentence on the blackboard.)
Read after the teacher.
2.Teach to say: (Emma) hates (pink).
(1)Teacher: Do you like pink? (Ask a student.)
Student: No.
Teacher: OK, now we can say … hates pink.
(2)Practice to say the sentence phrase in this way.
3.Teach to say: She paints … on …
(1)Look and spell the days of the week.
(2)Learn to say "on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday…"
(3)Play a memory game.
4.Listen to the song three times. The students can sing it in low voice.
5.Listen again. Ask the students to color in the animals according to the text.
6.Play the cassette and let the students sing together.
Step 4.Circle the days of the week
1.Let the students review the days of the week.
2.The students have to find and circle the days of the week in the grid.
3.The exercise should be done individually and corrected in pairs.
Step 5.Write about yourself
1.Teacher: What's Ann's favorite day?
Student1: Saturday.
Teacher: Yes. Ann's favorite day is Saturday. What's your favorite day?
Student1: My favorite day is …
2.Teacher: asks some students in this way.
3.Teacher writes the sentence "My favorite day is ..." on the blackboard.
4.Ask students to make sentences by using the phrase.
5.Teacher: My favorite color is pink. What's your favorite color?
6.Practice to say: My favorite color is …
7.Practice to say: My favorite pet/number/toy is...
Step 6.Summary
学生自我总结今天上课所学内容。

1.抄写单词十遍。
2.熟悉本课的知识。
3.朗读课文。
4.了解本课的情景语境,学会运用新句子造句。
