Step 1.Warming up

1. Play a song Have a dream before class.
2. Talk about the feelings and dreams.

T: How are you today?

S1: Fine.    S2: So so.    S3: ...

T: I’m very happy and excited for two reasons. So many teachers are with us and enjoy our lesson. How happy we are to have friends afar. Last night, I had a nice dream.

T: Did you have a dream? What kind of dreams did you have?

  Do you often have dreams? What kind of dreams do you have?

S1: ...    S2: ...    S3: ....

Step 2. Presentation

Task 1 Let’s watch and think.

1. Watch a video about Penelope and answer three questions.

    T: Let me introduce another friend Penelope. Let’s watch a video about him and think:

1. What kind of dream is he having?
2. What is he doing in his dream?
3. What or who can you find in the world of his dreams?

   Ss share their ideas first in groups then in class.

2. Talk freely about their dreams.

   T: We have known something about Penelope. But I just want to know what I can find in the world of your dreams.

   Ss share their ideas first in groups then in class.

【设计意图：精心选择、录制、并合成教学资源，巧妙设置问题，对学习的内容进行预热。通过分别对朋友Penelope 和他们自己的梦境的讨论，引导学生激发思维、感受主题、会话操练。】

Task 2 Let’s Listen and learn.

1. Listen to the poem and say:

T: Ann is also our friend. Let’s listen and try to find what’s in the world of her dreams?

   S1: The sweetest smells.     S2: ...      S3: ...

2. Let Ss say and correct their pronunciation if need. Act some situations and let Ss experience the superlative degree further. Write down the key words on the blackboard.
3. Let Ss read the passage and poem first. Then let them think and find out the differences between a passage and a poem.
4. Let Ss read the poem again and experience the elements of a poem further.

【设计意图：板书标注形容词的最高级的变化形式，帮助学生加深对形容词最高级的变化规律的感受。板书目标语言，帮助学生形成对于文段和诗歌格式对比的直观感受。】

5. Show the tree of knowledge and revise the key points in the girl’s dream as quickly as possible.

Task 3 Let’s listen and fill in the blanks.

  1. Listen to Tim’s poem and fill in.

Ask some Ss to write down their answers on blackboard and correct if need.

   2. Read the poem emotionally and rhythmically.

   3. Sing a chant of superlative degree.

【设计意图：留白设计，充分发挥学生的学习自主性，在图片的帮助下完成填写、人称转换和理解诗意的任务；通过多位学生的书写演示，进一步检验学生对诗歌格式的掌握和形容词最高级变形的运用情况；将形容词最高级形式分类说唱，则让学生在动感音律中进一步巩固对最高级变化规律的习得。】

Task 4 Le’s write and share.

 1. Let Ss creative their own poems.

 2. Share their poems in groups first and then in class.

【设计意图：学生自主地创编自己的小诗并小组分享和班级分享，有助于加深他们对诗歌主题及内容的感受、诗歌书写技巧的运用和对自己梦想更深入的思考。】

Step3. Extension.

1. Talk about the rabbit’s, Judy’s, Annie Frank’s and different pupils’ dreams.

    2. Think and talk about how to realize a dream.

【设计意图：此部分为教学内容拓展，引导学生思考不同的梦想并且怎样才能达成梦想。】

Step 4 :Homework

   1. Listen and read the poem. Record it and sent it to my QQ.

   2. Share your poem with your friend by QQ or Weixin and try to know about your friend’s dreams.

   3. Watch a video about our Chinese’s dreams. Write about one of their dreams and send it to my mail box.

【设计意图：通过观看微课录制剪辑的中国梦的视频，让孩子们感受更多不同国人的梦想，并以当事人的身份，写一写。这样的活动旨在进一步培养学生未来公民意识和提升学生的核心素养。】
