During the summer, Hu Miakun, a 19-year-ld with cngenital (先天的) deafness, received ffers frm seven universities, after years f effrts.
Brn in 2005 in a village in Hubei Prvince, Hu lst his father at five and later lived with his grandparents after his mther remarried.
