      1. 例:I lve traditinal music that tells a stry. 这个句子是定语从句,定语从句是修饰名词或代词的从句,相 当于形容词的作用,也叫形容词性从句,被修饰的名词/代词称 为先行词,定语从句必须放在先行词之后,由关系词引导,关 系词分关系代词和关系副词,既连接主句和从句,又在从句中 充当句子成分。
      2. 关系代词的用法 (1) wh • 先行词:指人,在从句中作主语(不可省略) • 例句:The girl wh is singing is my sister.
      (2) whm• 先行词:指人,在从句中作宾语(可省略)• 例句:The man whm we met yesterday is a dctr.
      (3) which• 先行词:指物/事,在从句中作主语或宾语(作宾语可省略)• 作主语:The bk which is n the desk is mine.• 作宾语:The mvie which we watched is interesting.
      (4) whse• 先行词:既指人也指物,在从句中作定语,表示“……的” (不可省略)• 指人:The student whse hmewrk is finished can leave.• 指物:The huse whse windw is brken is mine.
      (5) that• 先行词:既指人也指物,在从句中作主语或宾语(作宾语可省略)• 指人:The persn that helped me is my teacher.• 指物:The pen that I bught is cheap.
      3. 关系副词的用法 (1) when • 先行词:表时间的名词(time, day, year, mnth等),在从句中 作时间状语 • 例句:I remember the day when I jined the army.
      (2) where• 先行词:表地点的名词(place, rm, city, schl等),在从句 中作地点状语• 例句:This is the schl where I studied.
      (3) why• 先行词:只有reasn,在从句中作原因状语• 例句:This is the reasn why he was late.
      (4) 定语从句中的主谓一致 • 关系代词在从句中作主语时,从句谓语动词的数由先行词决定。 • 例句:The girl wh likes music is my friend. (先行词girl是单数,谓语用likes)
