      Gd mrning, everyne!Tday, I’d like t talk abut my favurite sprts event. Actually, when I used the wrd “event”, I meant tw events: the 2008 Summer Olympics and the 2022 Winter Olympics. They were held in Beijing—the first city ever t hst bth the Summer and the Winter Olympics.
      The mst recent was the 2022 Winter Olympics. A ttal f nearly 2,900 athletes attended and cmpeted in 109 events in seven Olympic winter sprts. There were many exciting mments. Nearly the whle wrld watched the fantastic figure skating and ski jumping cmpetitins. I watched the freestyle skiing, and like everyne else, I fell in lve with thse brave and talented athletes. I als became a huge fan f the masct, Bing Dwen Dwen.
      And we shall nt frget the amazing achievements in the 2008 Summer Olympics. I watched in wnder as Usain Blt smiled his way acrss the finish line in the 100 metres, setting a new wrld recrd. Then I watched the drama f the shting event. Du Li wn her secnd Olympic gld medal, after the first ne in 2004. Bth were dramatic cme-frm-behind victries.Hsting tw Olympics brught challenges but als pprtunities t Beijing.
      Bth Games shwed China’s success in its refrm and pening-up n the wrld stage. China’s great achievements have gained wrldwide attentin. In bth events, many vlunteers and citizens helped ut. They wrked with pride t make sure that peple frm arund the wrld had a pleasant stay.Events like the Olympic Games build bridges between cuntries and frm friendships between peple.       relatinships between peple, t celebrate the Olympic spirit, and t bring peple tgether fr peace and harmny.
