      Dad did s many things fr me during my elementary schl years.He cnvinced the schl bus driver t pick me up at ur huse instead f the usual bus stp tw blcks away.He always had my lunch ready fr me when I came hme.
      As I gt a little lder and tried t gain my independence, I wanted t mve away frm thse “childish” signs f his lve, but he wuldn’t give up.In high schl I was n lnger able t g hme fr lunch, s I began taking my wn.Dad wuld get up a little earlier and prepare it fr me.
      Hwever, when I left hme fr cllege, I missed my dad every day after schl.At that time I called him a lt.It didn’t matter what he said; I just wanted t hear his vice.
