The wrd “dppelganger” refers t a persn wh lks the same as yu, essentially sharing yur features, thse that yu thught were unique t yu and yur identity. Nt an identical twin, as a dppelganger has n relatin t yu. The idea riginated in German flklre. A dppelganger was said t be a spirit-duble that culd replicate every human and animal n the earth.

On April 16, 2022, at an indr sprts venue in Daegu, Suth Krea, Kim Kyu Tae managed t break the wrld recrd fr the lngest paper plane flight with each ne f his eight thrws. The previus recrd f 69.14 metres set by Je Ayb and Jhn M. Cllins had been standing fr a decade, but Kim managed t break it n all f his eight measured attempts (71.813 metres being the shrtest and 77.134 metres being the farthest). While paper planes are cnsidered mere tys by a lt f peple, t thse wh build and fly them cmpetitively, they are cmplex creatins that vary greatly in terms f paper used, gemetry and weight. It was the same type f paper used by Ayb and Cllins fr their wrld recrd attempt in 2012.
Nw that they’ve brken the wrld recrd, the three paper plane enthusiasts have their sights set n bigger things. They are cnfident that their creatins can fly ver 80 metres, prvided they can find a mre spacius indr venue, and they are als cnsidering tackling the recrd fr “lngest flying paper aircraft (duratin)”, set by Taku Tda f Japan (29.2 secnds).
28. Which has the least impact n paper plane’s perfrmance?
A. The player’s arm strength.B. The paper plane’s frm.

30. Which best describes the prcess f making paper planes fr cmpetitins?
A. Pleasing.B. Demanding.C. Cmpetitive.D. Cmparative.
31. What cntributed t their successfully breaking the recrd?
A. Wrking as a team.B. Finding an ideal venue.
C. Using high-quality paper.D. Setting clear gals.
