      Other rules
      We use adverbial clauses f purpse with s that r in rder that t talk abut the purpse f an actin. 我们使用 s that 或 in rder that 引导的目的状语从句来描述一个动作的目的。
      Ntes:1. In rder that is rather frmal. In an infrmal style, s that is mre cmmn than in rder that. in rder that 非常正式,s that 更多用于非正式文体。2. The wrd that in s that can be mitted, especially in speaking. s that 中的 that 可省略,尤其在口语中。
      1. 目的状语从句定义:表示主句动作或状态的目的,回答“为了什么”(Fr what purpse?)的问题。
      2. 常用引导词 s that(以便):口语常用,后接从句需含情态动词(can/culd/will等)。 “I study hard s that I can pass the exam.” in rder that(为了):正式用语,用法同s that。 “She practices daily in rder that she may imprve her skills.” lest(以免)、fr fear that(唯恐)、in case(以防):从句谓语用“shuld+动词原形”,shuld可省略。 “He lcked the dr lest thieves shuld break in.”
