      1.讲述故事 ( tell / narrate / relate a stry)
      2.分享经验 (share an experience)
      3.纪念人物 (remember a persn)
4.阐明道理 (cmmunicate an idea / cnvey a message)
5W(what, wh, when, where, why)要素。
特别是解答推论或暗指类的题目,比如“What can be inferred frm …?”或是What des the authr imply in…?”
      2.核心名词法:核心名词在文章中高频出现。可是“原词”或“同义词”不断曝光。
      3.合并法:整合各段落大意,整合各段落首段信息
      4.首位呼应法:整合首段和尾端信息
      六、记叙文细节理解题
      1.划出题干,选项关键词;
      2.回忆文章结构,定位具体段落;
      3.理解细节内容,最后找出答案;
      4.正确选项的特征:原词复现/同义词、近义词替换;语言高度凝练概括。
      七、实用答题妙招
      1.阅读理解记叙文细节理解题居多,落实“题文同序”和“同义替换”。
      2.数据计算题注重“原文定位”“细节理解”,弄清来龙去脉再计算。
      3.文章寓意题要注意言外之意,尤其是首尾段做出合理推测判断。
      4.人物性格描述题注意捕捉原文褒贬性词汇再进行同义替换和排除。
      5.满分策略:读题干→找原文→做标记→留痕迹→看选项→扣字眼。

Like mst f us, I try t be mindful f fd that ges t waste. The arugula (芝麻菜)was t make a nice green salad, runding ut a rast chicken dinner. But I ended up wrking late. Then friends called with a dinner invitatin. I stuck the chicken in the freezer. But as days passed, the arugula went bad. Even wrse, I had unthinkingly bught way t much; I culd have made six salads with what I threw ut.
In a wrld where nearly 800 millin peple a year g hungry, “fd waste ges against the mral grain,” as Elizabeth Ryte writes in this mnth’s cver stry. It’s jaw-drpping hw much perfectly gd fd is thrwn away — frm “ugly” (but quite eatable) vegetables rejected by grcers t large amunts f uneaten dishes thrwn int restaurant garbage cans.
Prducing fd that n ne eats wastes the water, fuel, and ther resurces used t grw it. That makes fd waste an envirnmental prblem. In fact, Ryte writes, “if fd waste were a cuntry, it wuld be the third largest prducer f greenhuse gases in the wrld.”
If that’s hard t understand, let’s keep it as simple as the arugula at the back f my refrigeratr. Mike Curtin sees my arugula stry all the time — but fr him, it's mre like 12 bnes f dnated strawberries nearing their last days. Curtin is CEO f DC Central Kitchen in Washingtn, D.C., which recvers fd and turns it int healthy meals. Last year it recvered mre than 807,500 punds f fd by taking dnatins and cllecting blemished (有瑕疵的) prduce that therwise wuld have rtted in fields. And the strawberries? Vlunteers will wash, cut, and freeze r dry them fr use in meals dwn the rad.
Such methds seem bvius, yet s ften we just dn’t think. “Everyne can play a part in reducing waste, whether by nt purchasing mre fd than necessary in yur weekly shpping r by asking restaurants t nt include the side dish yu wn’t eat,” Curtin says.
      24. What des the authr want t shw by telling the arugula stry?
      A. We pay little attentin t fd waste.
      B. We waste fd unintentinally at times.
      C. We waste mre vegetables than meat.
      D. We have gd reasns fr wasting fd.
      25. What is a cnsequence f fd waste accrding t the test?
      A. Mral decline.B. Envirnmental harm.
      C. Energy shrtage.D. Wrldwide starvatin.
      26. What des Curtin’s cmpany d?
      A. It prduces kitchen equipment.
      B. It turns rtten arugula int clean fuel.
      C. It helps lcal farmers grw fruits.
      D. It makes meals ut f unwanted fd.
      27. What des Curtin suggest peple d?
      A. Buy nly what is needed.B. Reduce fd cnsumptin.
      C. G shpping nce a week.D. Eat in restaurants less ften.
B25. B26. D27. A
根据第一段中的“Like mst f us, I try t be mindful f fd that ges t waste.(像我们大多数人一样,我努力关注那些被浪费的食物)”及“But as days passed, the arugula went bad. Even wrse, I had unthinkingly bught way t much; culd have made six salads with what I threw ut.(但随着时间的推移,芝麻菜变坏了。
根据第三段“Prducing fd that n ne eats wastes the water, fuel, and ther, resurces used t grw it. That makes fd waste an envirnmental prblem. In fact, Ryte writes, “if fd waste were a cuntry, it wuld be the third largest prducer f greenhuse gases in the wrld.”(生产没人吃的食物会浪费用于种植食物的水、燃料和其他资源。
根据倒数第二段中的“Curtin is CEO f DC Central Kitchen in Washingtn. D.C., which recvers fd and turns it int healthy meals. Last year it recvered mre than 807,500 punds f fd by taking dnatins and cllecting blemished (有瑕疵的) prduce, that therwise wuld have rtted in fields. And the strawberries? Vlunteers will wash, cut, and freeze r dry them fr use in meals dwn the rad.(科廷是华盛顿DC中央厨房的首席执行官,该公司把食物复原,变成健康的食物。
      27. A。 根据最后一段中的““Everyne can play a part in reducing waste, whether by nt purchasing mre fd than necessary in yur weekly shpping r by asking restaurants t nt include the side dish yu wn’t eat,” Curtin says.(“每个人都可以在减少浪费方面发挥作用,无论是在每周的购物中不购买不必要的食物,还是要求餐馆不包括你不吃的配菜,”科廷说)”可知,科廷建议人们只买需要的东西来避免浪费食物。故选A。

      26. What des Tittertn need t practise?
      A. Cunting the pages.B. Recgnizing the “ndding”.
      C. Catching falling bjects.D. Perfrming in his wn style.
      27. Why is Ms Rasppva’s husband “the wrse page turner”?
      A. He has very pr eyesight.B. He ignres the audience.
      C. He has n interest in music.D. He frgets t d his jb
A25. C26. B27. D
根据第一段“I’m nt a trained musician, but I’ve learnt t read music s I can help Maria in her perfrmance.(我不是受过训练的音乐家,但我学会了识谱,这样我就可以在Maria的表演中帮助她)”可知,因为Tittertn识谱,所以可以在Maria的钢琴表演中为她翻页。故选A项。

“I kept trying t get them t cme back because I thught it was a terrible idea,” he remarked. He wanted them t build their sandcastles clser t the dunes. But they fund it mre exciting t build right where the waves hit, seeing their sandcastles get destryed, and then rebuilding them with whatever debris washed up frm the cean. “It seemed s symblic, smehw, f hw life wrks mre than just building yur perfect sandcastles,” said Lawsn. A Day fr Sandcastles is illustrated by Qin Leng. It’s the secnd wrdless picture bk fr Lawsn and Leng since 2021’s Over the Shp. Leng’s illustratins stay pretty true t real life. Three siblings spend the day building sandcastles and watching them get destryed by a flying hat. “T me it’s a celebratin f childhd and the simple jys f life. These are the things I like t capture,” said Leng.
Leng spent part f her childhd in France, and she was inspired by Eurpean cmic bks. “What I lve t d when I illustrate a picture bk is add side stries t the main stryline.

由文章第二段“But the effect f this cmpetitive character was exactly the ppsite f what I had hped fr. When I encuntered scientific prblems, I thught I had t slve them myself instead f asking fr help. The pressure became verwhelming. I began t feel alne and lst. I became less and less prductive.
由文章第三段“I emailed my mentrs (导师), explaining that I had put myself secnd and the jb first fr t lng. They tld me that I wasn’t the first academic t feel that way, and that I wuldn’t be the last. They agreed that I shuld take the time I needed t take care f myself. S, with my mentrs’ supprt and an uncertain future, I left.
由第四段“At first, I was ashamed. But the mre I talked abut my demns, the mre ther peple tld me abut their wn. I als started t receive emails frm my wrkmates. After a few lines asking hw I was, many expressed wrries abut hw they were managing the stress f academic life. A. Trying t be pen with thers尽量与他人坦诚相待;B. C. Being mre cnfident in research对研究更有信心;D. Tending t be happier than ever倾向于比以往任何时候都更快乐。故选A。
通读全文,尤其是由文章第二段“But the effect f this cmpetitive character was exactly the ppsite f what I had hped fr. When I encuntered scientific prblems, I thught I had t slve them myself instead f asking fr help. The pressure became verwhelming. I began t feel alne and lst. I became less and less prductive. 和最后一段“With a bit f time, cllabratin has replaced cmpetitin. Wrking with thers and seeking help desn’t weaken my value r cntributins; it means we can all win. I n lnger feel lnely and unhappy. 故选A。

根据第一段“Sia was 13 when she nticed the bareft children f wrkers at a cnstructin site. “Their feet were bare. Hard. Dirty. Bleeding.” reflects Sia. “They were just walking arund just as it was an everyday practice.” It was then that Sia realized their lives were s different frm hers.(当Sia13岁时,她注意到建筑工地上工人们光着脚的孩子。 和第二段“Sia went back hme and saw shes piled up high — many f which hadn’t been wrn fr mnths. Then she rushed t distribute them t the children she saw at the building site. Later that year, with the help f her parents and cmmunity vlunteers, Sia funded Sle Warrirs, a charity cmmitted t prviding shes t thse in need, whse mtt is: “Dnate a sle(鞋), save a sul.”(Sia回到家,看到堆得很高的鞋子,其中许多已经好几个月没穿了。
根据第三段中的“Nw in its fifth year, the rganizatin cllects used shes, refurbishes(翻新) it and dnates the finished prducts t peple in need.(该组织已经成立第五年了,它收集用过的鞋子,进行翻新,并将成品捐赠给有需要的人。)”
根据第四段中的“When it came t lking fr a cmpany that wuld d the refurbishments free f charge, Sia faced ne barrier after anther befre finding a partner. “Being a 13-year-ld, I did face a lt f prejudice because peple were less willing t hear what I say.” says Sia.(当谈到寻找一家愿意免费进行翻新的公司时,Sia在找到合作伙伴之前面临着一个又一个障碍。
根据最后一段中的“But her wrk isn’t dne. “Our gal has always been t tuch a millin feet,” she says.(但她的工作还没有完成。
