      Math had never been smething I was gd at since middle schl. Classes became harder in high schl, and I was even further frm a math teacher’s dream student. S, at the start f my freshman year, I carried a quiet resentment tward math.       The study asked 52 subjects (实验对象) t d a bring jb: Srt apart a bwl f red and green beans with just ne hand fr 30 minutes. Meanwhile, 49 ther subjects — the cntrl grup — were instructed t create art prjects with paper, beans, and glue.
      Once the 30 minutes was ver, each grup was asked t spend five minutes n a creative task: they had t cme up with reasns why a hypthetical (假设的) persn was tw hurs late fr a meeting. The researchers fund that the bred grup came up with nt just mre ideas but mre creative ideas than the cntrl grup.
