In a previus study, psychlgist Laurence Steinberg fund that a teenage driver with a same-age passenger in the car is at higher risk f traffic accidents than ne driving alne r with an adult.

It included 101 teenage bys wh played either alne r with three peers. They chse cards frm fur decks (牌堆): tw decks had “gd” cards, and tw “bad” nes. Players with peers were mre willing t take risks, trying t figure ut which decks culd help them t win. The results shwed that teens playing with their peers d mre explratry behavir, learn faster and achieve better perfrmance n the task than thse playing alne.
