Fr Nick, the best part is lking back at hw his sn has grwn. He als finds the traditin a gd way t bnd with Jacksn, as they bth like superheres. Nick plans t keep taking these phts as lng as pssible. He thinks it will be funny t see when Jacksn becmes taller than him.
Thugh Nick desn't have special plans fr the phts, he may make a cllage r a vide fr his sn's imprtant birthdays. Fr him, the traditin is nt just abut pictures — it's abut recrding time and the lve between a father and his sn.

Fd can tell us much abut sciety, histry, and even ur dreams. What is cnsidered luxury(奢侈的) fd changes ver time. Let's find ut hw fds becme ppular and then g ut f style.
Histry shws many fds' status (地 位 ) has changed. In 18th - century Eurpe, pineapples were uncmmn and expensive, grwn in heated glasshuses. They were used at parties t shw ff wealth, nt fr eating. Hwever, nce steamships culd transprt them, they became cmmn and lst their luxury status. Similarly, ysters were nce a cheap fd fr the pr in the 18th and 19th centuries. But verfishing and pllutin made them hard t find, increasing their value and turning them int a symbl f fine dining.
Sme items like sugar, tea, cffee, and cca were nce expensive gifts nly the rich culd affrd. Eurpeans' desire fr them led t cntrl ver freign lands and the use f enslaved labr. As prductin grew, csts drpped, making them everyday items fr everyne, thugh they still appear in luxury gift sets.
The stry f lbster(龙虾) is als surprising. It was s cmmn n the US East Cast that it was fed t prisners. Railway cmpanies started serving canned lbster t passengers, wh turned ut t enjy it. This new demand made lbster a luxury item in restaurants.
Several factrs make a fd luxurius. Scarcity is key—if a fd is hard t get, like the histrical pineapple, it becmes mre valuable. High cst, ften due t skilled labr, als makes fd limited, like Japanese Wagyu beef. Marketing plays a big rle t. If famus peple r scial media advertise a fd, it can quickly becme a must - have item, even if it's nt rare.
Lking ahead, climate change may make sme fds luxurius again. Chclate and cffee are becming harder t grw, which may make them expensive in the future. A new idea f sustainable(可持续的) luxury is als appearing. Peple want fd that is nt nly special but als gd fr the earth, s they care abut hw fd is prduced. The true luxury isn't just abut hw expensive r uncmmn smething is.
Why were pineapples luxurius in the past?
They were easy t ck.B. They were difficult t get.
      C. They were gd fr health.D. They were transprted by steamships.
What can be inferred frm the lbster's stry in paragraph 4?
A fd's status can rise with shrt supply.
A fd's status can rise with increased demand.
A fd's status can drp with lwer prductin cst.
A fd's status can change with new ways t market.
What des the last paragraph suggest?
      Luxury fds will becme cheaper.
Peple n lnger care abut the cst f fd.
      Sustainable luxury will becme ppular.
Climate change may resulting little effect n fd prices.

The team studied data frm 42 cuntries, paying attentin t 13 cancer types in adults aged 20 - 49 and thse ver 50. They chse cancers reprted befre t be rising glbally in yunger adults. Results shwed that six cancers increased in yung adults in at least 75% f the cuntries. Five f these als rse in lder adults, with clrectal cancer(结直肠癌 )being an exceptin. Early - nset clrectal cancer increased in 88% f cuntries, cmpared t nly 55% frlder adults. Berringtn said the larger increase in yunger adults may result frm better testing in cuntries with cmmn screening prgrams.
Additinally, the study fund that cancers increasing in bth age grups were related t besity, in line with rising besity rates amng yuth and adults. Dctr Christpher Cann and Dctr Efrat Dtan cmmented that this shws a grwing cancer prblem acrss all generatins and calls fr attentin t future scial effects.

Their increase is hardly related t besity.
They are nw a cmmn internatinal health issue.
Yung peple are the main grup affected by their rise.
Their rising rates invlve bth yunger and lder adults.

      C. Healthier living habits in lder adults.D. Psitive changes in diet and lifestyle.
Which wrd best describes Cann and Dtan's attitude t the study finding?
      A. Cncerned.B. Cnfused.C. Supprtive.D. Dubtful.

      评分原则:
      范文仅供参考,学生可用不同的语言表达形式来表述要点。
      本题总分为 15 分,按以下 5 个档次给分。评分时,先根据文章的内容和语言初步确定其所属档次,然后以该档次的要求来衡量,确定或调整档次,最后给分。
      第一档:(1—3 分)只能写出一两个要点;语言错误很多,只有个别句子正确;第二档:(4—6 分)能写出部分要点;语言错误较多,影响意思表达;
      第三档:(7—9 分)能写明基本要点;语言虽有较多错误,但能基本达意;
      第四档:(10—12 分)能写明全部或绝大部分要点;语言有少量错误;行文不够连贯,表达基本清楚;
      第五档:(13—15 分)能写明全部要点;语言基本无误;行文连贯,表达清楚。
      评分时,应注意的主要内容为:时态、人称、内容要点、应用词汇和语法结构的数量和准确性、上下文的连贯性、语言的得体性及应用文体裁格式。
      拼写与标点符号是语言准确性的一个方面,评分时,应视其对交际的影响程度予以考虑。英、美拼写及词汇用法均可接受。
      如书写较差,以至影响交际,将分数降低一个档次。
      注意,习惯写成非健康习惯即为偏题,三档以下(最高 6 分)。
      答案详解
根据文中对该活动的描述:“We will have tw shrt talks,a Q&A sessin, and fun space facts. Yu can als enjy watching stars with
      telescpes.” 选项 A(关于火星的科学电影)没提及;选项 C(与作家面对面)是最后一个活动的;选项 D
选项 A(Jacksn 要求开始)、B(网友建议)和 D
      C 文章第四段明确提到:“Fr Nick,the best part is lking back at hw his sn has grwn.”(对 Nick来说,最美好的部分是回顾儿子的成长过程)。选项 A(在网上出名)、B(教儿子关于超级英雄的知识)和 D(每年买新蝙蝠侠 T 恤)均不是 Nick 最看重的部分,因此 C 是正确答案。
      A 在第四段中,“bnd”出现在“the traditin a gd way t bnd with Jacksn”这一语境中,意为这种传统是增进与 Jacksn 之间联系的好方式。 选项 B(争论)、C(竞争)和 D(不同意)均不符合语境,因此 A(联系、连接)是正确答案。
选项 A(如何在 Reddit 上出名)、B(孩子们对什么超级英雄感兴趣)和 C
因此 D(一对父子的拍照传统故事)是正确答案。
      B 文章第二段明确提到:“In 18th - century Eurpe,pineapples were uncmmn and expensive,grwn in heated glasshuses. They were used at parties t shw ff wealth,nt fr eating”,关键信息是 “uncmmn and expensive”(不常见且昂贵)以及需要在“heated glasshuses”(加热的温室)中种植,这些都说明菠萝难以获得,从而导致其奢侈的地位。选项 A(易于烹饪)和 C(对健康有益)文中均
选项 B(人们不再关心食物成本)文中没有依据。
选项 A(气候变化使某些食物变得奢侈)只涵盖了最后一段的部分内容,不全面;选项 B(从监狱到宫殿:奢侈食物的道路)只对应了龙虾的例子,过于片面;选项 C
文章第一段明确提到:“... rising cancer rates are nt nly seen in yunger peple but als in lder adults.”(癌症发病率的上升不仅在年轻人中观察到,在老年人中也同样存在。) 选项 B(已成为国际健康问题)中“cmmn”一词的断定程度可能过强,文章说的是“leading sme t wnder if it is becming...”(让一些人怀疑它是否正在成为……)。选项 C(年轻人是主要受影响群体)与第二段强调的“lder peple still make up mst new cancer cases”(老年人仍占全球大多数新发癌症病例)的事实不符。
选项 A(引用专家)、C(举例)和 D(比较观点)在描述第三段的研究方法时均未体现。
35. A 文章最后一段提到,Cann 和 Dtan 医生评论说,这凸显了 “a grwing cancer prblem acrss all generatins”(所有年龄段的癌症问题日益加重),并 “calls fr attentin t future scial effects”
前文核心动作是 “chse a theme”,后文 “A theme helps...”
前文提出具体谜题 “I have legs, but dn't walk. I'm the place yu sit and talk”,后文 “That clue might help...”
保持联系”;A. kind(善良的)、C. true(真实的)、D. respectful(尊敬的)均无法体现“通过书籍维持语言关联”的含义,故选 B。
“prgress frm... t...”
后文“Tday, they take pleasure in...”
前文提到“We ften cme t stry time carrying the day's wrries”,后文“find cmmn grund”(找到共同点)提示此处为“开始阅读后,我们调整到同样的频率(情绪状
“disagree with”意为“与……有分歧”;A. lked after(照顾)、C. depended n(依靠)、D. cmmented n(评论)均无法体现“让步转折”的逻辑,故选 B。53.
前文提到“prtect my children frm every strm that life brings”, “strm”(风暴)为比喻,对应“shelter”(庇护所),指“通过故事给孩子提供一个心灵庇护所”,故选 D。
      that/which 考查定语从句引导词。
      have imprved/have been imprved 句中“Since Li’s guidance”为现在完成时的标志性时间状语,强调“指导后技能提升”的动作从过去持续到现在;主语“Wu’s skills”为复数,故助动词用“have”,“imprve”的过去分词为“imprved”,填 have imprved 或 have been imprved。
分析句子,“t train hard”(努力训练)、“learn the basics fully”(扎实学习基础)、“ne day becme a prfessinal player”(某天成为职业选手)为三个并列的不定式结构,表“目标的递进”,需用并列连词“and”连接,使句子逻辑连贯,填 and。
当名词前有“the first”“the last”“the nly”等限定词时,常用不定式作后置定语,修饰名词,表“第一个/最后一个/唯一一个做某事的人”;此处“the first Asian player t win...”
