Weifang kite-making began 2,000 years ag. At first, the army ften used kites t measure (测量) distance and fr cmmunicatin. During the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644), kites became ppular amng peple. Mnths ag, I came t the US, a cuntry I didn’t knw much abut. I’m frm France, and I’m here as an exchange student. The custms here are really different frm thse f my hmetwn.

Chinese astrnauts nbard the Shenzhu XIV spacecraft returned with the wrld’s first rice seeds (种子) prduced in space.
