The authrs say the research can directly infrm hw we build scial rbts and virtual assistants, and that it als has brader implicatins beynd technlgy.
“Understanding hw eye cntact wrks culd imprve nn-verbal cmmunicatin training in high-pressure settings like sprts, defence, and nisy wrkplaces,” said Dr Caruana. “It culd als supprt peple wh rely heavily n visual cues, such as thse wh are hearing-impaired r autistic.
