Ask students: "What can yu see in these pictures? Hw d these digital devices change ur life?" Let students have a shrt discussin in pairs and then invite sme pairs t share their ideas.
Knwledge Review (10 minutes)
Vcabulary Review
Shw the key wrds and phrases n the PPT ne by ne, and ask students t read them alud and explain their meanings in English r Chinese. Fr sme difficult wrds r phrases, give mre examples fr students t understand, such as "take up". "The new sfa takes up t much space in the living rm."
Play a vcabulary game. Divide students int grups. Shw sme pictures related t digital life n the screen, and the first grup t call ut the crrect English wrd gets a pint.
Sentence Pattern Review
Write sme key sentence patterns n the blackbard, and ask students t make sentences accrding t the patterns. Fr example, fr the pattern "Digital technlgy is a big part f...", students can make sentences like "Digital technlgy is a big part f ur study."
Invite sme students t write their sentences n the blackbard and then check and crrect them tgether.
Grammar Review

Let the small grups have a discussin. Students can refer t the knwledge they have learned in this unit and their wn experiences. Encurage them t list as many reasns as pssible and rganize their thughts.
Debate (15 minutes)
Each small grup selects a representative t participate in the frmal debate. The representatives f the psitive side and the negative side stand face t face.
Set the rules f the debate: Each side has 2 - 3 minutes fr the pening statement t present their main views. Then there is a free debate perid f abut 8 minutes, during which representatives f bth sides can ask questins and refute each ther. Finally, each side has 1 - 2 minutes fr the clsing statement.
During the debate, the teacher acts as the mderatr, making sure the debate ges smthly, and reminding students t use plite language and the knwledge they have learned.
After the debate, let the rest f the students vte fr the winning side, and ask sme students t explain why they think ne side wins.
Summary and Reflectin (5 minutes)
Summarize the main pints f the debate, emphasizing that digital life has bth advantages and disadvantages. We shuld make gd use f digital technlgy while aviding its negative impacts.
Ask students t reflect n their wn digital life. "D yu use digital devices wisely? What changes will yu make in the future?" Let students share their reflectins briefly.
Assign hmewrk: Ask students t write a shrt passage abut their views n digital life, including its advantages, disadvantages, and their wn suggestins fr using digital devices.
