要表达某一行为或状态从过去某时间一直持续到现在（包括“现在”在内），甚至还可能延续下去，我们也可以借助现在完成时，此时常与“fr+时间段”或“since+过去的时间点/从句”连用。
fr+一段时间，表示“持续……” ；
since+ … ag / 过去时的句子，表示“自从……以来” 。
注意：含fr和含since的现在完成时的句子有时可互相转换。

与表示一段时间的标志词连用，短暂性动词要变为持续性动词（见下表）。表示一段时间的标志词有：fr，since，hw lng。
