(二)Let's Learn
- have(有) can(能,会) run(跑) jump(跳) fly(飞) swim(游)
(三)Let's Play
学生两人一组,互相询问对方拥有的动物及其特征和能力。例如:
A: What d yu have?
B: I have a rabbit. It's grey. It can jump.
A: That's cl.
(四)Let's Act
学生分组表演,一个学生扮演主人,介绍自己拥有的动物,其他学生扮演动物,做出相应的动作。例如:
Student 1 (as the wner): I have a dg. It's black. It can run and jump.
Student 2 (as the dg): Wf! Wf! (run and jump arund)
二、学情分析

四、教学重难点
(一)教学重点

(一)Warming-up
1. Greetings
T: Hell, bys and girls. Hw are yu tday?
Ss: I'm fine, thank yu. And yu?
T: I'm very well t. Are yu ready fr ur English class?
Ss: Yes.

2. Revisin
- Shw pictures f animals learned in the previus lessns (mnkey, panda, elephant, rabbit, giraffe, bear, deer, dg) n the screen.
T: What's this?
Ss: It's a... (mnkey / panda / etc.)
T: Hw is it?
Ss: It's... (thin / fat / tall / shrt / beautiful / cute / etc.)
(Ask several students t answer and review the wrds and sentences abut animal features.)
设计意图:复习旧知,巩固已学的动物名称和描述动物特征的词汇及句型,为引入本节课关于动物能力的学习做好铺垫,同时激活学生的记忆和思维。
(二)Presentatin
1. Lead-in
- Shw a picture f a little girl with a cat in her arms.
T: Lk at this picture. What can yu see?
Ss: A girl and a cat.
T: Yes, the girl has a cat. D yu have any pets at hme?
(Sme students may raise their hands and answer. Encurage them t speak in English if pssible.)
T: Tday, we are ging t learn hw t talk abut the animals we have and what they can d.
设计意图:通过展示图片和提问的方式,引出本节课的主题“拥有动物及动物的能力”,激发学生的学习兴趣和好奇心,同时联系学生的生活实际,让学生更容易理解和接受新知识。
2. Teach the new wrds and sentences
- Teach the wrd “have”
T: (Pint t the picture f the girl with a cat.) The girl has a cat. “Have” means “拥有”. Fllw me, “have, have, I have a bk.” (Hld up a bk and say the sentence.)
Ss: Have, have, I have a bk.
(Let students repeat the wrd and sentence several times. Then ask them t make sentences with “have” using the things arund them. Fr example, “I have a pencil.” “I have a bag.”)
- Teach the wrd “can” and the verbs f animal abilities
T: Lk at the cat. What can the cat d?
Ss: It can run. (Sme students may answer based n their knwledge r guess.)
T: Yes, very gd. The cat can run. “Can” means “能,会”. It shws the ability f smething. Nw, watch me. (D the actin f running.) This is “run”. Run, run, it can run.
(Write the wrd “run” n the blackbard and let students read and imitate the actin. Then teach “jump”, “fly”, and “swim” in the same way, using crrespnding actins and pictures. Fr example, fr “jump”, jump up and dwn and say “jump, jump, it can jump.” Fr “fly”, wave the arms like wings and say “fly, fly, it can fly.” Fr “swim”, make the swimming gesture and say “swim, swim, it can swim.”)
- Teach the sentences “I have a… It's… It can…”
T: Nw, let's put it all tgether. I have a cat. It's white. It can run. Say it with me.
Ss: I have a cat. It's white. It can run.
(Use pictures f different animals and ask students t describe them using the new sentences. Fr example, shw a picture f a brwn dg and guide students t say “I have a dg. It's brwn. It can jump.”)

1. Listen and repeat

(Play the recrding f the Let's Listen and Say part. Students listen and repeat sentence by sentence. The teacher can pause the recrding ccasinally t crrect students' prnunciatin.)

2. Grup wrk
- Divide the students int grups f fur. Each grup gets a set f pictures f animals with different clrs and abilities.
T: In yur grups, take turns t chse a picture and describe the animal using the sentence pattern “I have a… It's… It can…”. The ther grup members listen and repeat. Then change the rles.
(Fr example, a student chses a picture f a green bird and says “I have a bird. It's green. It can fly.” The ther students in the grup repeat after him.)
- The teacher walks arund the grups, listening t their cnversatins and prviding guidance and help if needed.

T: I'll shw a picture f an animal n the screen. The first student in each team needs t say a sentence using “I have a… It's… It can…” t describe the animal. Then the secnd student repeats the sentence and adds anther sentence abut a different animal. Fr example, Team A's first student says “I have a cat. It's black. It can run.” Team B's first student says the same sentence and then Team B's secnd student says “I have a dg. It's white. It can jump.” And s n. The team that finishes first and makes the fewest mistakes wins.
(Shw the pictures ne by ne and start the game. Encurage the students t speak ludly and clearly and pay attentin t the grammar and prnunciatin.)

- Have students pair up and talk t each ther abut their favrite animals using the sentences we learned.
A: I have a rabbit. It's white. It can jump. What abut yu?
B: I have a parrt. It's clrful. It can fly and talk.
(Encurage students t use mre wrds and sentences t describe their animals, such as the shape f the animal, its habits, etc.)
- Ask sme pairs t cme t the frnt f the class and share their cnversatins with the whle class.

T: Nw, let's write dwn a shrt passage abut yur favrite animal. Yu can use the sentences we learned and add mre details if yu like. Fr example, yu can write abut its appearance, its favrite fd, where it lives, etc.
(The teacher walks arund the class and prvides help and guidance as needed. Remind students t pay attentin t the spelling and grammar.)
- After students finish writing, ask them t read their passages alud t their partners. Then each partner gives sme feedback and suggestins.
- Select a few students t read their passages t the class and display their writings n the blackbard fr everyne t see. Praise and encurage the students fr their gd wrk.

(Write the wrds and sentences n the blackbard again and ask students t read them alud.)
T: These wrds and sentences are very useful when we talk abut the animals we have and what they can d.

(Encurage students t share their knwledge and have a brief discussin. This can help students understand the cultural diversity and the rich cnntatins f animals in different cultures, bradening their cultural hrizns.)

2. Draw a picture f yur favrite animal and write a few sentences t describe it using the wrds and sentences we learned tday. Yu can shw yur picture and sentences t yur parents and tell them abut yur favrite animal.
