三年级的学生刚刚接触英语学习,对英语充满了好奇和兴趣。他们具有较强的模仿能力和表现欲望,但注意力集中时间较短,抽象思维能力尚未发展成熟。在经过第一单元的学习后,学生对简单的英语问候语和课堂用语有了一定的了解,为本课学习介绍同学和描述人物特征的内容奠定了基础。然而,他们可能在单词的发音、句子的理解和运用上还存在一些困难,需要教师通过多样化的教学方法和活动进行引导和巩固。
二、核心素养目标
(一)语言能力目标
1. 学生能够听懂、会说、认读单词:classmate, tall, shrt, fat, thin,并能在实际情境中正确运用。
2. 学生能够运用句型“This is my classmate. He/She is tall/shrt/fat/thin.”来介绍自己的同学并描述其外貌特征。
3. 学生能够理解并朗读课文对话,语音、语调基本正确。

三、教学重难点
(一)教学重点
1. 掌握单词:classmate, tall, shrt, fat, thin的发音和拼写。
2. 运用句型“This is my classmate. He/She is tall/shrt/fat/thin.”进行简单的交流和表达。
(二)教学难点
1. 单词thin的发音,以及tall和shrt、fat和thin的区别。
2. 能够在实际情境中准确、灵活地运用所学句型描述人物外貌特征。

(一)Warming-up
1. Greetings
T: Hell, bys and girls. Nice t see yu again.
Ss: Hell, teacher. Nice t see yu t.
T: Hw are yu tday?
Ss: I'm fine, thank yu. And yu?
T: I'm very well t.
设计意图:通过日常问候,拉近师生距离,营造轻松愉快的课堂氛围,同时复习旧知,为新课学习做好铺垫。
2. Sing a sng
Play the sng "Hell" n the multimedia. Let the students listen and sing alng with the music.
设计意图:利用歌曲激发学生的学习兴趣,活跃课堂气氛,让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中进入英语学习状态。
(二)Lead-in
1. Shw a picture f a classrm
T: Lk, this is a classrm. D yu like ur classrm?
Ss: Yes.
T: In the classrm, we have many classmates. Tday we will learn abut ur classmates.
设计意图:通过展示教室图片,引出本节课的话题“classmates”,让学生明确学习主题,激发学生的学习兴趣。
2. Pint t a student in the classrm and say
T: This is my classmate. His name is [student's name]. D yu knw him/her?
Ss: Yes.
T: He/She is very nice. D yu want t knw mre abut ur classmates?
Ss: Yes.

1. Learn the new wrds
Tall
Shw a picture f a tall by n the multimedia.
T: Lk at this by. He is very tall. Tall, tall, [tɔːl]. (Write the wrd "tall" n the blackbard and emphasize the prnunciatin.)
Let the students repeat after the teacher several times and d the actin f being tall (stretch the hands up).
T: Wh is tall in ur class? Can yu pint and say?
Ss: [Student's name] is tall.
T: Yes, [student's name] is tall. Gd jb.
设计意图:通过图片展示和动作演示,让学生直观地感受“tall”的含义,加深学生对单词的记忆。同时,让学生在班级中找出高的同学,进行实际运用,增强学生的参与感和学习兴趣。
Shrt
Shw a picture f a shrt girl next t the tall by.
T: Nw lk at this girl. She is shrt. Shrt, shrt, [ʃɔːt]. (Write the wrd "shrt" n the blackbard and cmpare the prnunciatin with "tall".)
Let the students repeat and d the actin f being shrt (bend the knees slightly).
T: Can yu find a shrt classmate in ur class?
Ss: [Student's name] is shrt.
T: Great. Yu are s clever.
设计意图:在学习“tall”的基础上,通过对比图片和发音,引出“shrt”这个单词,让学生更清晰地理解两个单词的区别。同样让学生在班级中找出矮的同学进行运用,巩固所学知识。
Fat
Shw a picture f a fat by with a big smile.
T: Lk at this by. He is fat. Fat, fat, [fæt]. (Write the wrd "fat" n the blackbard and use gestures t shw the meaning, like patting the stmach.)
Let the students repeat and imitate the actin.
T: Wh d yu think is fat in ur class?
Ss: [Student's name] is a little fat.
T: Well, we shuld nt use the wrd "fat" t describe thers in a bad way. We can say he/she is a little chubby, which is mre plite. But in this lessn, we just learn the wrd "fat". Remember t be kind t everyne.

T: And this girl is thin. Thin, thin, [θɪn]. (Write the wrd "thin" n the blackbard and pay attentin t the prnunciatin f the "th" sund. Let the students put their tngues between their teeth and blw air ut gently t make the sund.)
Let the students repeat carefully and d the actin f being thin (hld the arms clse t the bdy).
T: Can yu find a thin classmate?
Ss: [Student's name] is thin.
T: Very gd.

2. Practice the new wrds
Game: I say yu d
The teacher says the wrds "tall", "shrt", "fat", "thin" randmly, and the students d the crrespnding actins quickly.
Game: Magic fingers
The teacher shws different numbers f fingers, and the students say the wrds accrding t the number. Fr example, when the teacher shws three fingers, the students say "tall, shrt, fat" r ther cmbinatins.

3. Learn the new sentence patterns
Shw a picture f tw students (a tall by and a shrt girl) in the classrm.
T: This is my classmate. He is tall. And this is my classmate t. She is shrt. (Pint t the students in the picture and say the sentences slwly.)
Write the sentence patterns "This is my classmate. He/She is tall/shrt/fat/thin." n the blackbard.
Let the students repeat the sentences after the teacher several times, paying attentin t the prnunciatin and intnatin.
Pair wrk
Let the students practice the sentences in pairs, using the pictures f their classmates r the students in the classrm. They can intrduce their classmates t each ther and describe their appearance.
Example:
S1: This is my classmate. [Student's name]. He is tall.
S2: This is my classmate. [Student's name]. She is thin.
设计意图:利用图片创设情境,引出新的句型,并让学生通过跟读、模仿来熟悉句型的结构和用法。然后通过Pair wrk,让学生在实际交流中运用所学句型,提高学生的语言运用能力和口语表达能力,同时培养学生的合作意识。
(四)Text Learning
1. Open the bk and turn t Page 14. Lk at the text in Lessn 2.
Listen t the tape fr the first time and let the students just listen and try t understand the general meaning.
T: Nw, let's listen t the dialgue between tw classmates. Listen carefully and see what they are talking abut.
2. Listen t the tape again and answer the questins
T: Listen again and answer the fllwing questins:
Wh is the by talking abut? (His classmate, Li Ming.)
What des Li Ming lk like? (He is tall and thin.)
After listening, ask sme students t answer the questins and check the answers tgether.
3. Read the text tgether
T: Nw, let's read the text tgether. Fllw the tape and pay attentin t yur prnunciatin and intnatin.
The teacher leads the students t read the text sentence by sentence, and crrects the prnunciatin and intnatin if necessary.
4. Rle-play
Divide the students int grups f tw. One student acts as A and the ther acts as B, and they rle-play the dialgue in the text.
Each grup practices fr a while and then sme grups cme t the frnt f the class t perfrm. The ther students watch and listen carefully, and give them applause and encuragement.

1. Grup wrk: Describe yur grup members
Divide the students int grups f fur r five. Each student takes turns t describe ne f the grup members using the sentence patterns "This is my classmate. He/She is tall/shrt/fat/thin." The ther students in the grup listen and guess wh is being described.
Example:
S1: This is my classmate. She is tall and thin. She has lng hair. Wh is she?
Ss: Is it [Student's name]?
S1: Yes, yu are right.
2. Let's draw and say
Give each student a piece f paper and a pencil. Ask them t draw a picture f their favrite classmate r a fictinal classmate. Then they use the wrds and sentences they have learned t describe the classmate in the picture t their partners.
Example:
S1: Lk at my picture. This is my classmate. He is shrt and fat. He has a big smile.
S2: That's very cute.

Ss: This is my classmate. He/She is tall/shrt/fat/thin.
The teacher writes the wrds and sentence patterns n the blackbard again and leads the students t read them tgether.
2. Summarize the main cntent f the lessn
T: Tday we learned hw t intrduce ur classmates and describe their appearance. We knw that everyne is unique and we shuld respect and like each ther.
设计意图:通过回顾本节课所学的单词和句型,帮助学生巩固知识,加深记忆。同时,对本节课的主要内容进行总结,引导学生树立正确的价值观,培养学生尊重他人的意识。
(七)Hmewrk
1. Listen t the tape f Lessn 2 fr at least three times and read the text alud.
2. Use the wrds and sentences learned in this lessn t describe three f yur classmates t yur parents.
设计意图:通过布置听读作业和口语表达作业,让学生在课后继续巩固所学知识,提高学生的听说能力,同时也让家长了解学生的学习情况,促进家校合作。
六、教学反思
在本节课的教学过程中,我通过多种教学方法和活动,如图片展示、动作演示、游戏、角色扮演等,激发了学生的学习兴趣,让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中学习了新单词和句型,并能够在实际情境中进行运用。同时,我注重培养学生的观察能力、模仿能力、合作学习能力和思维品质,引导学生积极参与课堂活动,大胆开口说英语。
然而,在教学过程中也存在一些不足之处。例如,在单词thin的发音教学上,部分学生仍然存在困难,需要在今后的教学中加强个别指导。在小组活动中,个别小组的合作不够积极,需要进一步引导和鼓励学生积极参与小组活动,提高小组合作的效率。此外,在时间把控上还需要更加精准,确保每个教学环节都能充分展开,让学生有足够的时间进行练习和巩固。
针对以上问题,在今后的教学中,我将进一步优化教学方法和教学设计,关注学生的个体差异,加强对学生的个别辅导,提高教学的针对性和有效性。同时,注重培养学生的自主学习能力和合作学习能力,让学生在学习中更加积极主动。此外,我还将不断提高自己的教学水平和课堂管理能力,合理安排教学时间,确保教学任务的顺利完成,为学生提供更加优质的英语教学服务。
