I hpe this email finds yu well! I’d like t share with yu my recent experience f the unique curses ffered at my schl, which yu’re interested in.
The Chinese Traditinal Culture Elective Curse mainly intrduced the rich and diverse aspects f Chinese traditinal culture. We started with the histry f Chinese civilizatin, explring hw ancient philsphies like Cnfucianism, Taism, and Buddhism have shaped Chinese sciety fr thusands f years. The teacher als taught us abut traditinal Chinese festivals, such as the Spring Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the Dragn Bat Festival.
Thrugh this curse, I have gained a deeper appreciatin fr the depth and beauty f Chinese culture. I think yu wuld really enjy this curse if yu had the chance t take it.

Unfrtunately, minutes later, it was puring again with strng winds. The rain lashed at my face, and the wind made it difficult t keep my balance n the bike. I struggled t see thrugh the sheets f rain, my heart sinking. My spirits were dampened as I pedaled n, feeling the cld seep int my bnes. Dubts crept back in. Wuld I be able t finish this race? But then I thught f all the training I had put in and the determinatin that had brught me this far. I gritted my teeth and cntinued t battle against the elements.
I quickly put n dry scks, shes, and the utfit befre starting the 13.1-mile run. As I began t run, my legs felt heavy and tired frm the previus events. But I pushed n, ne step at a time. The crwd cheered me n, and their energy gave me a bst. With every step, I grew mre cnfident. Despite the challenges I had faced thrughut the day, I was determined t crss that finish line. As I neared the end, a sense f accmplishment washed ver me. I had dne it. I had cmpleted the triathln.

My interest in the language was due t the passin f ur Arabic lecturer and as the curse prgressed, my interest in the culture als grew with it. I cnsidered studying in the Middle East, but ultimately decided n Cair due t its energetic cultural scene. Hwever, in the city, we faced sme challenges, including difficulties finding a htel and accmmdatin as we were a grup f unmarried individuals. Once settled, the culture shck was intense fr sme f us. One member f ur grup returned hme within the first week. Luckily I became accustmed t the life in Cair gradually. The biggest challenge f learning Arabic is the discnnectin between the written and the spken frms. Despite these challenges, learning Arabic has been a rewarding experience, including absrbing myself in the culture and getting t knw the lcals and even negtiating at a lcal market. Highlights were being invited t a traditinal Arabic meal at ne f the lcals’ hme and being able t cnfidently cmmunicate. Overall, this experience was utside f my cmfrt zne and allwed me t learn and grw in interesting ways. I encurage thers t cnsider invlving themselves in new cultures and languages.
