      M: I was in my junir year at a public high schl then. My schl required us t take part in prjects. My prject that year required me t make an app.

      M: Back then sme f my classmates cmplained that they didn’t like preparing fr their exams. They fund it bring. S I wanted t create an app that culd make learning mre fun. In the end I created an app that lets teachers create resurces in the frm f game-style quizzes.

      W: Harini Lgan is a 14-year-ld student frm San Antni, Texas. She finally wn the Scripps Natinal Spelling Bee after she failed t win fr three times. Harini Lgan’s winning came late Thursday. She spelled 21 wrds crrectly during the 90-secnd spell-ff. Her cmpetitr, 12-year-ld Vikram Raju f Aurra, Clrad just managed t spell 15 wrds crrectly. Befre the spell-ff, Lgan thught she had lst the cmpetitin, because she was tld she had answered a questin incrrectly during the vcabulary rund f the spelling bee. A few minutes later, head judge Mary Brks said the judges studied her answer. They decided t change their decisin. It turned ut her answer t that questin was crrect. Because f that, she culd cmpete in the spell-ff and finally wn. Harini wn $50,000 in prizes. The Scripps Natinal Spelling Bee takes place in Washingtn, D. C. It began in 1925. It is held nce a year.
