The frmatin f the muntains in Zhangjiajie Peple are always amazed by the pillarlike muntains in Zhangjiajie, but hw did these unique muntains take shape? The stry started at the bttm f the sea. Here, the frces f nature turn sand int stne. Hw des this happen? Well, many f the wrld’s rivers pick up sand and slwly carry it int the cean. Little by little, new sand arrives n the sea flr, s the ld sand gets pressed dwn. It can take millins f years, but the pressure slwly turns the sand int hard rck. This is what happened in Zhangjiajie. Later, the sea flr slwly rse ut f the water and became land, and the hard sandstne f Zhangjiajie began cracking up. The wind kept blwing against the rck, and rivers passed thrugh the cracks. These frces f nature slwly cut deeper and deeper, and the land cntinued t rise. Over time, strange-lking sandstne muntains appeared. In fact, wind and water cntinue t wear dwn the muntains. Smetime in the future, millins f years frm nw, these beautiful muntains will disappear.
