发言稿是人们在工作和社会生活中经常使用的一种文体，它在近几年的高考英语写作中也有所考查，如“以Be smart nline learners为题写一篇发言稿参赛”(2021年全国乙卷)。写演讲稿时，应做到有重点、有层次。段与段之间、句与句之间要有适当的过渡和呼应，以达到内容完整、思路清晰且逻辑性强的效果。演讲稿通常以第一人称和第二人称为主，主体时态多为一般现在时。
