Get Stressed, Stay Yung
Fr many years dctrs have warned us abut the dangers f stress and have given us advice abut hw t cut dwn ur stress levels. Everyne agrees that lng-term stress, fr example having t lk after smene wh has a lng-lasting illness, r stressful situatins where there is nthing we can d, fr example being stuck in a traffic jam, is bad fr ur health and shuld be avided whenever pssible. Dr. Kyriazis, an anti-ageing expert, explains that what he calls “gd stress” is beneficial t ur health and may, in fact, help us stay yung and attractive and even live lnger. Dr. Kyriazis says that “gd stress” can strengthen ur natural defenses which prtect us frm illnesses cmmn amng lder peple, such as Alzheimers, arthritis, and heart prblems. He believes that “gd stress” can increase the prductin f the prteins (蛋白质) that help t repair the bdy’s cells, including brain cells.
Accrding t Dr. Kyriazis, running fr a bus r having t wrk t a deadline are examples f “gd stress”, that is, situatins with shrt-term, lw r middle level stress. The stress usually makes us react quickly and efficiently, and gives us a sense f achievement—we did it! Hwever, in bth these situatins, the stress damages the cells in ur bdy r brain and they start t break dwn.
