average /'ævərɪdʒ/ adj.平均的；普通的be average in...意为“在……方面达到中等水平”，后跟名词。My mm is average in height and has shrt hair.我妈妈中等身高，有一头短发。I was just an average srt f student.我只是一个普通的学生。

different /'dɪfrənt/ adj. 不同的
格言记单词 (1)Different trades are separated by muntains. 隔行如隔山。(2)The same cnclusin, end r gal may be reached by many different ways. 同样的结论、结果或目标可以通过许多不同的方式来实现。(条条大路通罗马。)
different 后一般接名词复数。固定搭配：be different frm...意为“与……不同”，反义词组是be the same as...，意为“与……相同”。
