average /'ævərɪdʒ/ adj.平均的;普通的be average in...意为“在……方面达到中等水平”,后跟名词。My mm is average in height and has shrt hair.我妈妈中等身高,有一头短发。I was just an average srt f student.我只是一个普通的学生。
拓展:average还可作名词,意为“平均数;平均水平”。The average f 2 and 6 is 4. 2和6的平均数是4。His Chinese is abve average in the class.他的语文高于班上的平均水平。400 peple a year die f this disease n average.平均每年有400人死于这种疾病。

different /'dɪfrənt/ adj. 不同的
格言记单词 (1)Different trades are separated by muntains. 隔行如隔山。(2)The same cnclusin, end r gal may be reached by many different ways. 同样的结论、结果或目标可以通过许多不同的方式来实现。(条条大路通罗马。)
different 后一般接名词复数。固定搭配:be different frm...意为“与……不同”,反义词组是be the same as...,意为“与……相同”。
My friends live in different cities. 我的朋友们住在不同的城市。My best friend Larry is quite different frm me.我最好的朋友拉里与我很不一样。My new jb is much the same as the ld ne.我的新工作和旧工作差不多。

【点拨】句意:每个人都与其他人不同。除了我们自己,我们不需要成为任何人。be different frm...“与……不同”。
①be动词的三种形式:am, is, are。
I am a student. She is a teacher.我是一名学生。她是一名老师。My mther is a nurse. Their mthers are wrkers.我的妈妈是一名护士。他们的妈妈是工人。Yu are frm Class 3. They are frm Class 6.你(们)来自三班。他们来自六班。The students are n the playgrund.学生们在操场上。

【点拨】用主谓一致法。句意:不仅我的朋友们,而且我也对踢足球感兴趣。nt nly... but als...表示“不仅……而且……”,遵循“就近原则”,即谓语动词的形式由but als后的主语来定;主语为I,be动词用am。

【点拨】句意:看!一个香蕉在盒子里,一些苹果在桌子上。第一空根据“A banana”可知,主语为单数名词,be动词应用is;第二空根据“sme apples”可知,主语为可数名词复数,be动词应用are。
be 动词三变化,变为am,is,are;I 用am,yu 用are,is 连着他(he),她(she),它(it);单数is,复数are。

④含有be 动词的句子变否定句时在be 动词后加nt。变一般疑问句时把be动词提前;作答时,通常用yes或n来回答。
I am a student.我是一名学生。I am nt a student.我不是一名学生。— Are yu a student?你是一名学生吗?— Yes,I am./N,I am nt.是的,我是。/不,我不是。
速记小法变否定,特容易,be后nt加上去;变问句,be 提前,句末问号莫丢弃;还有一条要注意,句首大写莫忘记。

【点拨】has表示“有”,否定句要借助助动词des;sme 用于肯定句中,any用于疑问句或否定句中。

【点拨】谓语动词是第三人称单数has,一般疑问句借助助动词des,放句首并大写首字母,其后用动词原形。
What d yu have? 你有什么?Hw many pens des he have?他有多少支钢笔?
速记小法实义动词have 的用法:动词have 表示“有”,位置就在主语后。主语“单三”用has,其他人称用have。一般疑问句,句首d/des添。否定句子也一样,dn’t/desn’t 主语后面站。
